I also had a mongoose. I wish I still had my Powell Peralta Tony Hawk skateboard.

Funny you said that. I was cleaning out my dads shop few weeks back and dug up my old peralta hawk board and a couple of broken vision decks. Takes me back to the days when I used to bounce of the ground, nowadays I'd probably break chit.

Is this supposed to be impressive, or impressively slow?
congrats on putting z rated tires on a basically stock turd that weighs as much as your house?

dont worry about it...

but since you are...

its illegal for tire companies to put tires on your car that dont meet the speed requirements...

thats why....

atleast the places i go to wont do it, ever, at all, once....

but, im sure you are going to tell me im wrong, and could have bought sh!tty tires at WalMart....

5mm 'Streak still holds air even after ventilating untold numbers of starlings. Yellow boxes are found hereabouts and at my folk's place too. Spent a fair bit of time astride a '75 Husky CR250 at the Mattawa 100. Both feet could touch the ground. Good times....

Change of the balance of power going from BB to 5mm.

I was driving the ol' F150 home on 203 last night. Snow piled high on the sides of the road and a bit icy, so I was going the appropriate speed. Somewhere near Carnation, I came around a turn and damned Cow Elk was standing in my lane. I swerved a bit and put the truck into a nice snow bank. I got out, locked the hubs and pulled her out. Easy peasy. No damage done except to my britches. I shoulda hit her, cuz hey, free Elk meat.

The end.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

One part about it I like is I don't have to get out and lock the hubs to put it in 4WD. I went to college to learn how to push buttons and I can push that 4WD button right in the cab. thumbs

You'll pull an easy 200k more out of that thing if you do the timing belt. My Tacoma is pretty easy to drive in the snow and ice and I think it's the same chassis as your 4Runner. I only used 4wd in this last storm to get up the driveway into the garage one day. Didn't need it the rest of the time.

I took the 04 F350 Power Stroke diesel for a run today hauling some old chemicals out of the rental down to the waste facility. It works good but the street tires are slick. 160K miles. Hooked up for a 5th wheel. Should get the fuel injectors cleaned.

Haven't taken out the 02 F150 supercrew 140K miles out for a couple of weeks. The General Grabber AT2s are getting worn. Transmission is a little clunky when it downshifts around 40 MPH. Probably from towing the old boat but it came with the tow package. Need new brakes, rotors, and tires. Trucks are paid for, no payments.

My father in law has a 4 runner like mid 2000s. His last fishing rig took out the back seats. His health and memory are failing and will probably not come home. He told mom to give me his fishing gear.

My wife's 19 Honda Pilot Elite does great in the snow. Have taken her out everyday. She put a little ding in the tail gate at a parking garage so need to make an appointment. Bremerton is closer than Enumclaw but I don't think Stam is hurting for business.

Have Subaru, will travel. If we ever got 2 or 3 feet of snow, then I'd have issues. Suby can only snowplow so far until the weight of the snow and the coefficient of friction prevent me from going any further.
