No conspiracy, just calling it what it is, a list of men got caught up in a sting getting some "rub & tug", Robert Kraft happened to be one of the guys who paid for a "rub &tug" and got busted. Generally for this type of offense they issue a criminal citation with a promise to appear, they defer the jail time for a nice little fine and an enrollment into some classes on how to treat women better and how prostitutes are victims.

There are probably 400 of these joints in King County servicing 150 men per day each (conservative estimate), the cops know where each one of them are and go to online websites to read the reviews. How many of them do they bust? Generally none unless there is a federal grant for enforcement or somebody high profile has been seen at the place.

Prostitution is the one crime LE generally does not do anything about, and when they do something about it they quickly remember why they always stayed away from doing anything about it. No good comes out of enforcing it, the women who do it do it for a reason, the men who partake, partake for a reason. Law enforcement cant change any of the behavior as it is chosen by both parties. Its the oldest profession, sex is a commodity, it has value and money can be made off of it and that is the way it will always be regardless of laws.

I guess in the end it comes down to the fact that everybody accept the cops are victims, the Johns and the hookers suffer because somebody wanted to get some news feeds. The massage parlor should have screened its patrons better, making sure nobody news worthy got in the front door and this would not be news.

That's interesting that LE doesn't do much about it unless they have to. I figured as soon as one is found out to be operating, that they would shut it down quickly. But it does makes sense that they leave them alone I guess. I've always wondered if these types "spas" around Puget Sound were fronts for prostitution. It seems very risky and expensive to operate an actual brick and mortar store front that operates this way. I always figured it was more of a Craig's List or The Stranger type of affair.

Disagree. All sorts of things wrong. This was a human trafficking case. The tugger was likely doing this against her will. If she was a child, this wouldn't be a misdemeanor. Too bad Kraft will likely not get "STIFF" punishment for it, if found guilty...
