Maybe it’s because I’m being present biased but mine is my current car 2018 mustang gt. Second favorite was my high school car, 1992 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 5 speed lol. I tore up thurston county’s woods with that truck.

My 2004 C-5 Corvette Commemorative Edition. Drive it every day all year around. It always seemed odd to me that people buy a Corvette and only drive it is the summer. I will admit that when it snowed I was stuck from a Friday to the next Thursday.

Which brings me to my second favorite ride that had I kept it I could have gotten through the snow and that was my 87 Suburban with a giant 454 V-8. I beat the snot out of that thing and it just took it. When I pulled the boat I couldn't even tell it was back there. Gas was a problem.

The Corvette averages about 18 MPG for every day driving but on a trip averaging 65 to 70 MPH it will get 32 MPG believe it or not.

1994 Defender 90. Portofino red, full hard and soft tops. Hence the D90 in my handle. Without a doubt the single best production 4x4 ever built and it's not even close. #546 of 1500 ever imported into the US. It's worth an absolute fortune now. Sold it to refi my house. Made the right financial decision, but I regret it every day.

Alfa Romeo sprint veloce gtv. At 50mph it had 50% of it's HP left. thumbs

I rebuilt the top end, each exhaust valve was 70.00 in 84', they had to use sodium filled valves. It held 10 quarts of oil with dual oil pans. We use to go to Mercer Island thousand curves. I had it at 200 kilometers on # 509..passing cars like they were parked, still had some pedal left. Got to love the handling of a Pininfarina sports car.

BOOM !!

Here's a list of those for sale if you want to pick up another one:

Oh jeez. Now you've done it. I really wish I could - I'd by a good one today on the spot and immediately strip out all of the Lucas parts. Maybe in a couple of years.

1974 Camaro. Grandpa's old rig. Had the spoilers and painted it a couple of times. Ditched the vinyl top. Stam would have had fun painting it. Just a 250 6 cylinder but it got me back and forth to Pullman. Easy to work on. Did some carb work on it. Also replaced the TurboGlide tranny. Sold her after graduation.

I’ve never owned a car.

Favorite would be a 1972 K5 Blazer. I paid $3000 for it and put another $20k into it, from top to bottom. Painted it complete, frame off, motor, trans, diff, transfer case, suspension, interior, sound, wheels, tires, second motor...

It had a removable hard top and, because of off roading and subsequent body twist, I could never keep the top weathertight. I finally and regrettably, sold it because the left front corner had a leak that would drip on my left leg. I sold it for $6000 the day I put a “for sale” sign in the window.

At the time, I couldn’t afford to buy a second vehicle, but I’d pay twice to have it back.

My personal favorite from amongst those I've owned is a '71 Super Beetle. Went anywhere, cheap to run, cruised at 70. I think my wife's favorite was a '69 Firebird. Needed a manual instead of automatic but was great, too.

My grandparents had a '68 Hurst Olds, which as my Grandad said would pass anything on the road except a gas station. Got 8 mpg, burning Ethel. That one would have been fun to have, even now.

The only car I ever really wanted was a mid-60s GTO. Don't know why, because cars are basically for transportation but that one always caught my eye.

If I had a bunch of disposable money I would want some sort of smaller sports model, standard transmission, that stuck to road like glue, to drive on roads like CA 1, with the top down.

Earlier this month we drove from Ft Bragg to Costa Mesa, primarily on 1. Had lunch in Big Sur and when we left there were 4 older Porsches in the parking lot. A groups of friends cruising the Coast.

Trucks and SUV's aplenty, but the only car I've owned for myself is my current commuter car. 2014 Mazda3 Grand Touring. Got the one with all the bells and whistles I could get at the time. Biggest engine, HUD, 360 degree radar, paddle shifters, etc.

Light little car that when you take it out of automatic sloth fuel saving mode, press the Sport Mode button and use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel, the little beast is quick to go from a stop. Got's some zoom zoom in it! Not muscle car kinda zoom zoom, but good enough to beat most of the cars on the streets.

Seattle Prius Uber/Lyft drivers beware! rofl

I want a Tesla. I want a car that can pretty much drive itself and yet still have a "Ludicrous" Mode.

My first car was a '64 Oldsmobile ninety-eight, I bought it for $150. I could get 7 guys and a keg in it without using the trunk.
Next a was a MG Midget....it was in the shop more than on the road.
A Datsun pickup briefly.
A '85 Chrysler Laser XE.....great car, fun to drive.
A Chevy crewcab pickup that went through a starter every year.
A '93 Lexus SC400....best car I've ever owned.
On my second Ford F-150.....literally wore out the first one.

Looking for a SUV now.....so many to choose from. Any serious suggestions?

I loved my second car, a 1990 Volvo 740 wagon. It had a built in light system to give you codes of what was wrong, and parts were cheap. and eaay to install. I sold it because it was rear wheel drive and i kept getting stuck winter steelhead fishing by myself.
