Where do you train muay Thai and bjj at war-paint? Bjj private instructor then went on to Gracie north, Muay Thai private instructor now and probably always as long as he will teach me.

Fools This will be a slug fest and I really believe Connor will be the victor. He is hungry and I’m all in. Help me out WP and tell me what does it mean to be "all in?" Avid thinks I'm trolling, but I'm not. I lost interest in any kind of professional fighting when it became apparent that Ali had suffered brain damage from his time in the ring, despite his skill at "dance like a butterfly and sting like a bee . . ." If that's the product of pugilism, then we might as well allow gladiator contests and really give the fans a show. I don't get the appeal of MMA other than the basest reptilian instincts, which pretty much by definition can only bring out the basest in human behavior. Which according to psychologists is that the human subconscious reaction to seeing another human approaching from a distance is, "can that person kill me? If so, then fight or flight. If not, then maybe I will kill him. Or not." This all happens subconsciously, so we don't even think about it generally. This is my favorite sport to watch and participate in. Tae Kwon do for 20 years, BJJ for twelve, Muay Thai for nearly six. If you don’t get it you don’t get it. That’s fine. Some guys like golfing instead of football too. To each there own. I like your posts and enjoy your pics hope this winter fishing is good to you. Fights on the 18 th and I’ll be watching for free on crack streams Thanks for the reply. I understand that can be risky here on the DS. If I understand anything about the sports you participate in, it's about the physical and mental skill and not killing your opponent. Is that correct? I really appreciated the technical skill of boxing and going one-on-one, as opposed to team sports. And I haven't lost that appreciation, but with brain damage being the logical outcome, I just made a conscious decision to no longer be a boxing fan. So I was already out of the loop when MMA and cage fighting became popular.

Further proof you sit down to take a leak. lol Hey Duc, if I were a few years younger we could fight, cuz there's no chance of brain damage with you.

I love watching fights, ever since I was a kid. These guys now know what they signed up for,so if they are good with it,I am good with it. Would your enthusiasm include watching gladiator fights to the death, so long as they knew what they signed up for? This being the DS and all, might as well see how dark some of the players are.

How old are ya war-paint? I am amazed by people like yourself that take care of your back and body for so long that you can continue practicing Mma well into a older age. How often do you train?

No. This is a highly regulated contest with stringent rules and excellent officiating. Many MMA fighters have gone one to have healthy lives and careers outisde of fighting. Gladiator matches with lions end up badly.Poor lions. Not all boxers had brain damage. I hear you though. I remember the Boom Boom fight against Duk Koo Kim. So I understand your decision. I no longer follow boxing but at one time I was a huge fan of Hearns ,Ray Leonard, and Iron Mike Tyson.

Less than a week away. I watched an interview w/ Mcgreggor this morning. He looks and sounds more than ready. Cerrone isn't an easy task but Mcgreggor thinks it will be.
We will find out.

I like both fighters. McGregor has showed some focus and maturity lately, he is even a little humble and respects both Cowboy and the sport. Cowboy is a stud, just wants to battle with anybody, anytime. Then put on his hat and go home to his family. McGregor's best chance to win is early....first two rounds. If it goes later, Cerrone gets stronger. If Cerrone's kicks get through or it goes to the ground, this could be over early, but same if McGregor's left connects. Should be a good fight. The Holm-Pennington fight should be good too.
