I really love having a reel with 30-50 lb tuff line for float fishing or side planers since the line floats and has virtually no stretch. I've tried it drift fishing and its ok but I'll be sticking with mono there. With the tuff line I can usually rig a float on there and fish all season long without losing my float. Remember though that since there is no stretch your leader really gets abused unless you use a light drag setting or heavier than normal leader.

I wish that time allowed me to write "the 101 reasons why I hate spectra". But in short, I will stick with UG.
