Humans can do super human things when thrust into unexpected circumstances. I am sure Lynch was dreaming of this opportunity, but to have it actually come to pass is like a miracle to him. I think there is a chance he goes nuts. Somehow this feels like he has a lot to prove, and you know he will go until the wheels fall off.
