So, it really doesn't matter which way Trump moves, he's always gonna be wrong.

I got no issue at all with the wall, even if taxpayers pay for it. Sure
beats the hell out spending the same money supporting them once
they cross. Trump is a negotiator, so it doesn't surprise me at all if he
actually did leverage this issue in order to win the funding needed.
That's called "getting sh!t done", and that's something entirely new
to the useless bastards and biatches in Congress/Senate.

Congress (both sides) need to quit standing around wasting our money
measuring dicks and do their jobs.

Take one minute to Google up what the benefits versus costs are of having those immigrants here...it's tens of billions on the plus side.

You're right about Congress, but that's the same as it ever was. Until we get rid of corporate election funding, expect Congress to remain corrupt, gridlocked, and essentially feckless.

The issue is this same immigration problem has existed for decades,
and all Congress has accomplished is a world-record circle jerk. Like

As for all those young people being detained, odds are that they are
eating better than they ever have, and the accommodations (sparse
as they are) are probably better than what they had before their
parents decided to risk being caught.

I didn't call you a racist, and I doubt you are...but those who are telling you it is about money are flat out lying, because it is not. Those coming over the border are almost all working, at shitt jobs that Americans won't do, for shitt wages that Americans won't work for...and those jobs put food on every table in the country.

Contrary to popular talking points, they don't "welfare", they aren't getting tax refunds, and they aren't voting...they get nothing but their paychecks for their work, and the taxes they pay for Social Security and whatnot end up in someone else's pocket (unfortunately that means the pockets of giant corporations now that Congress is raiding OUR social security money to pay for the stupid tax breaks they gave themselves).

It's a problem that is far, far overblown...but it fires up the base to hear about all that crime and welfare fraud and illegal voting they do, even when it is demonstrably false.

It's incredibly stupid economic policy, besides being inhumane and unnecessary...but there is a large segment of white people who like to have someone to blame for their lot in life, and brown people are easy targets.

Guess who those people vote for?

That's the answer to this "problem" right there.

I've never been a believer of the "Let's do something, even if it's wrong!" philosophy. Most American citizens and the majority of our representatives in Congress think not building a wall is a better solution. The "blind faith" followers of Trump want that wall built...facts be damned.

Build a bridge to somewhere...maybe Magnolia, instead of an obsolete before it's built Berlin Wall like boondoggle.

The problem is that the businesses that rely on illegal immigrants...agriculture, restaurants, hospitality...want them to remain illegal. They are too expensive, otherwise.

Next you have the "they are taking our jobs!" myth spreaders...they want them all sent back, illegal or not.

Unfortunately those myth spreaders (and believers) constitute a large bloc of voters.

Again...guess who they vote for?

We already have food rotting in the fields because of a lack of pickers. This will hurt farmers, and hurt everyone who eats food. (That's every American)

All in the name of "doing something" that isn't even doing anything good at all, and is preventing nothing from happening.

so either they are working under the table, or getting benefits... they certianly arent homeless....

odd how people care so much about people from other countries, and i think last count was around 2k children were actually seperated from parents at these facilities, but no one cares about the 2.5 million American children that become homeless through no choice of their own each and every year....

they also arent just trotting across a field, they are crossing mountains, dangerous terrain, rivers, in the dark, theres snakes, scorpions, and other things that they are subjecting their children to, through no choice of their own, and yet thats OK....

like i said, people got what they wanted, dont be pissed off when the assaults and rapes start happening while housing grown men with little girls, and older boys with little girls....

theres a reason we dont put them together in this country....
