Peter Strzok has finally been fired from the FBI.

Now it has been reported Christopher Steele had the same extreme bias against Trump as Strzok. Bruce Ohr has been subpoenaed to testify in front of the Congressional committee August 28th. Steele under oath earlier has already stated that he doesn’t stand behind the “Steele dossier,” that he was paid $160,000 for, and the dossier has never been verified which would have been necessary to be used to obtain FISA warrants. McCabe has already under oath stated that the FISA warrants would not have been possible without the dossier.

As this continues to unwind at the August 28th hearing ---names to be familiar with:

Steele was fired from the FBI as an informant after leaking to the press. Enter Bruce Ohr (DOJ) continued to collect info from Steele against policy, Bruce’s wife Nellie working at Fusion GPS with Glenn Simpson.

The plot thickens, diving deeper into the coup d'état attempt to overthrow Trump with pure bogus fiction as the cast of traitors continue to expands.

It should prove interesting how Bruce Ohr will explain each of his 60+ contacts with Christopher Steele.

Dunno. Maybe neither, maybe from the "Trump Organization"...I don't know how money gets there, whether it be all business money, or campaign contributions, or whatnot.

Either way, the kicker will be that Trump first left the payments off his 2017 financials, then provided them on the next ones, and said they were for legal fees...as is usually the case with conmen and shysters in the White House, the coverup will prove to be worse than the original crime...he failed to report (a crime) and then lied on his report (another crime)...all to cover up payments intended to shut up Daniels right before the 2016 election.

The payments themselves may or may not be a crime (depending on where they came from), but the failure to report, and then lying on the report, are both indictable offenses.

Trumpsters:

As someone who is deeply concerned that our democracy is being sold out to a new brand of oligarchs, I feel I must do whatever I can to convince you not to vote for Trump in 2020 (let's be real; he's not getting impeached before the next election).

There's a lot I could say (that would fall on deaf ears), but I think the best argument I have is that ANY Republican would have very nearly the same list of "accomplishments" under his/her belt at this point in their presidency. If you get down to it, here's what Trump's done to "MAGA:" (chosen bullets are absolutely intentional)
$ - Tax cut that benefits corporations 99 to 1 versus average citizens
$ - Repeal of Net Neutrality (it was bad for corporate profit margin potential and consumer-friendly)
$ - Allowed AT&T-Time Warner merger, setting the stage for more competition-squelching mergers between other media giants
$ - Lifting regulations on natural resource extraction operations to maximize rape for profit potential
$ - shrinking national monuments to open up new lands for resource extraction

In other words, he's making the rich richer, which is the Republican agenda in a nutshell.

Most folks who support Trump do so because our economy is strong and growing under his leadership. For sure, in a Capitalist society, that which makes the money flow is perceived to be good.

My point is that while a different Republican might have had a few pet items of his or her own to push (like Trump's border wall), the actions listed above were very mainstream Republican in nature, and they were all part of Paul Ryan's agenda to begin with (lest we forget, Legislation starts in Congress, even in this administration).

Considering that ANY Republican president would have signed the same legislation and issued similar executive orders, why should we have to endure Trump's embarrassing lies and rhetoric any longer? You could get all the things you like about him without the whole lying, treasonous jerk bit. All you need to do is vote for ANYONE else in the primaries.

I think there may be a legitimate, if unfortunate answer: That Trump, polarizing as he is, is the ONLY candidate who can galvanize a base of support large enough to win as a Republican in today's political environment.

Ask yourselves a simple, fundamental question: Knowing what we all know (not including stuff we have yet to learn) about Trump and how he treats his associates, would you personally engage in a business deal with Trump? He's a proven, habitual liar and an adulterer (pu$$y-grabber). He demands loyalty of his associates but never hesitates to throw them under the bus when he feels the heat. Is this the sort of person you would like to deal with? If so, I suppose you should go on supporting him. Otherwise, why would you hold your personal business dealings to a higher standard than those of our entire nation?

Mike Pence is a goofball, but I'll take him over Trump in a New York second!
