I saw that pronoun thing recently and could not believe it. Stupidist thing I have ever seen in the professional world. I work really hard, I don’t care about pronouns.

I don’t mind calling people whatever pronouns they want... but it’s pretty pathetic when people put that schit in their signature lines like it’s so damn important. People need to stop letting their gender identity be at the core of what defines them as individuals.

My work started putting their preferred pronouns in their email signatures. I decided to participate and added to my email signature next to the word Prounouns: “Whatever makes you comfortable”. Pretty comical the responses I’ve got from people. Good and bad. Lol

The sad thing is that there are lots of kids coming into schools from fukkked family lives. Kids from family’s that are broke and broken. Poverty, trauma, abuse, neglect. It’s pretty bad that schools have to offer this stuff to families.

Good catch Dan. Never been good at editing. I took a class in Journalism from a Wilmott Ragsdale. He called me into his office and told me my writing style was great, but my skills were atrocious. He then smiled, and said, "Oh well, that's what editors are for anyways." I never have gotten much better. We sat for a while and he talked about his life. Probably one of the most interesting people I have ever met. He encouraged me to go into writing and it has been one of my regrets I did not listen better to what he was saying.

This is all true. You should write your book. There are people who deal with typos - it's the story that takes a great writer to tell.

If you start now, you'll finish it whenever you get done. But you'll have a book whenever that may be.

You write a book, and I'll buy it and read it. Guaranteed.

On the "what's your fuckin problem?" scale, I'd say getting your panties twisted about someone's preferred pronouns is much higher on the scale than someone sharing their preferred pronouns.

People who stay up at night worrying about stuff like this need more important things to worry about.

Todd, if you think I am getting my panties in a twist, its just some weird fantasy of yours, which, considering how much you and Dan focus on being gay, makes perfect sense. I just find it idiotic. Now, when my daughter told me she was told she had to put it on some work, I do find that a bit problematic. I will let her deal with it, but I don't like having them force my kid to buy into this baloney.

Ok, I agree that there are kids coming in to schools with the issues mentioned above, but there are also kids coming in to school with normal, not messed up lives.

Public Schools are only teaching what we want them to teach and generally reflect on modern day issues.

This is all coming from Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and partially the Me Too movement.

Probably long overdue in our country, as a country we are not very diverse, equitable, or inclusive, but you all can thank Trump for lighting the fire on these issues that are now in main stream Americana.

In the eyes of these movements, if you're a white male in your mid 30's on up, you're part of the current problem in America.

Using pronouns as signature lines in emails shows that one is not only onboard with DEI, Me Too, and the LGBTQ community, but that you are "woke" and onboard with what is happening in our country these days.
