Opening up fishing seems like something we should do now. I wish they hadn't shut it down to begin with. Taking social distancing into account, how do you think Inslee's gonna do it? If we should stay 6 ft apart, I guess that means a minimum boat length? No 8-foot boats for you!

What about family members who have been isolating as a family? "No occifer, this is really my wife so it's ok if she' sitting on my face while we're fishing".

I didn't for a while, but since I have a decent digital thermometer that takes about 10 seconds for a good reading, I've been taking it daily. 98.1-98.4 pretty consistently.

This seems like a pretty simple thing to do, but not sure if it does more than remind me that I don't feel sick.

A better early indicator of covid is an oximeter - cheep device available at walgreens that measures the percent of oxygen in your blood - clips onto your finger. They're finding that oxygen starts dropping as your lungs are affected even before fever or shortness of breath.

Had a scare myself last week when my temp spiked from normal to 104 over 20 minutes combined with shivering and chills. Talked to my doc and he sent me to the ER. Covid came back negative (new 2-hr tests) but a CT showed I had a urinary track infection that backed up into my kidney - not cool but a couple weeks of antibiotics and I'll be good.

Several newer cell phones also have built oximeters. Samsung, Apple etc.

Almost all oximeters and thermometers have been sold out in stores and online for a while now. Drug stores haven't had any in stock for almost 2 months.
