A lot of local docs and NP’s are starting to say that now that they are seeing confirmed CaronaVirus cases that they look an awful lot like what I had in January and they’ve been seeing since late Dec.
If the entire population had been tested those numbers you stated would look a lot different. Remember the first confirmed case in Wa. was a teenager who was in a UW flu study so that case should not have been identified under today’s protocols. By testing only those making it to hospitals you end up with very alarming numbers. But with a part of the population being so vulnerable I do support the policies put in place to slow the spread.
I know I’m on an island here but I think both the Feds and the Governor have handled this fairly well. Fine line between containment and causing a panic. Easy and lazy to condemn [blank] based on your tribe.
And once again for all of you trying to follow along. This is a novel virus. To date no scientist or medical professional has ever cured a common virus much less a novel one. The human body is the only known entity in the universe to successfully fight off a virus. Get a bullet to the the chest and a doc can save. Get a virus and all they can do is stabilize you (ice packs, oxygen, bp) in the hopes you survive long enough to give your body a chance.
p.s. boats ready to roll and gear all tied up. I’ll be pissed if I get quarantined in Wa and have to cancel my Pend Oreille trip next week!

If you are counting the amount of confirmed cases in the US without considering how few people have actually been tested, and using that as some sort of evidence that it's a democrat hoax to defeat Trump, then you deserve to catch Coronavirus, ebola, rickets, consumption, and cholera...all at once, and then hopefully expire and put you out of our misery.

Fat Nixon is about to have another press conference about the Coronavirus. I suspect it will be to announce that the thing he has been downplaying for weeks is now a National Emergency, but his response has been PERFECT and AMAZING!
I just hope it's better than the derped out shittshow his last one was.

Some of it is ...yeah. Obama re-regulated the FDA to oversee CDC testing with an extremely narrow list of certified labs approved to test (zero capacity in a time of pandemic). To his credit, Trump removed that barrier. It wasn't until that lab here in Seattle broke the law and told the CDC & FDA to shove it that we had any CDC/FDA compliant testing even occurring.
However, Trump immediately lost said credit by slow playing the seriousness of the situation & spread due to his re-election campaign. Gotta keep those markets pumped up!
All of them suck and should be held to account.

I wouldn't go so far as "Do the opposite of America", but I will say this...if you are getting even 1% of your information from Donald Trump or Mike Pence, then you deserve to get sick and die a horrible death.
Neither of them, but especially Trump, has any clue at all about what they are talking about, and Trump won't shutthefuckup talking about it. He is literally going to get people killed, starting with everyone idiotic enough to spout numbers about how influenza is worse.
That takes the kind of stupid that is rare, even on the Dark Side.
