Uh, oh. Emo is upset again.

I tried earlier to figure out what he's been trying to say or prove here and then I realized that even he didn't know himself and then I went back to eating my Sammy. It was delicious. Tuna, dill, pickle, onion & secret spices served with some home grown alfalfa sprouts on toasted wheat bread.

It's been well over 1.5 months since I last went to the grocery store. My Sammy possibilities drawer in the fridge is starting to look really spartan! PB&J, Tuna or Chicken Salad is about it. I'm out of all cheeses including chitty Kraft singles. Somebody please send help!

Same here but the fridge and pantry are mostly stocked. I resorted to Safeway pickup. Faster than delivery. Order online, a couple days later they toss it in the trunk with no mouth breathers breathing on me.

Then all that's left to do is a bi monthly beer run, masked and gloved and good to go. Yesca still holding out.

I'm just messing around. I know I can go to the store - I just want to push the food supplies boundaries a bit. I wanted to use this whole situation as a "stress test" for the "system" per se. Mostly, I wanted to see how creative I can get in the kitchen with basic long shelf life foods. It's been kinda fun to figure out new recipes and try new-to-me cooking techniques. I've made some killer new things with dried beans, including my first attempt at homemade refried beans. Used rendered beef lard I made myself and Green Chilies I put up from last year. It's was delicious and pretty simple!

I go daily.. We don't have the luxury of huge freezers and garages and the likes...

Speaking of cheese.. Made a stop at Tacoma Boys today and got some...
