I won't sniff one red cent of these stimulus checks. Bailouts for the rich and bailouts for the poor, but not much for the middle I guess. I didn't want the money anyways. I just want to keep my steady paychecks and that's about all I can ask for these days. It's going to get really, really ugly and this $1,200 check isn't going to exactly 'save' most of us. That's not even half of a monthly mortgage payment for me.

I've had people use "the check" as ammo when I'm ripping on trump, say craploads like "if you don't like him, send the check back"....I just tell them if it's so important to them they can have it to buy a [Bleeeeep!] clue.

I won't put one ounce of effort into getting a check, don't know if I'm even eligible, if one happens to show up I'm giving it to the food bank.

Danner's are not the best made boot.
They ARE the boot I've worn forever because of the Bob sole and the fact they size me absolutely perfect out of the box.
I could literally take out a pair of 13EE, slip them on, and hike 15 miles without blistering.
Not many folks have a boot fit relationship like that.
I ruin a pair a year just hunting.

Boots are over-rated. I just slip on a pair of tenny runners and hike wherever I want. I've got two pair of good hiking boots (Reichlie and Garmont) sitting in the basement that will probably never get used because they are heavy. Good boots, but heavy. I discovered that I can hike farther and faster wearing something lighter. And that includes rugged off trail terrain from the high Sierra to the North Cascades.

I have a pair of Lowa Tibet GTX's that pretty much have thrashed/blistered my heel when hiking about 2 miles straight the fvck up a mountain.

OTOH, I seem to recall my 30 year old Danner's did the same thing on the same fvcking mountain.

I'm guessing this has more to do with the smashing of a heel in a boot during the climb, than the boot itself.

Good thing I don't hunt there anymore.

The Lowa's seem to be fine on flat surfaces.

I'm not even too sure if I'm hunting Iderho this fall. I'm guessing not at this point in time.

I will hold onto it for a while in case I should get laid off but I may donate it if I don't get laid off. I don't consider myself rich but at 113k salary I am still surprised I qualified for the 24 hun. If I were divorced or otherwise lived alone I'd get nothing too.
