One very cool thing...

I work for a major software company out of Redmond. Said company has given us (me) last Friday and tomorrow off to "learn and listen". These days are fully paid and meant for us to....surprisingly...learn and listen. No work meetings allowed. Answer work emails....of course, but past that...LEARN AND LISTEN.

Last Friday, I watched about 8 hours of Chappelle. Tomorrow, my plan is to watch Roots. I remember it being a big deal when I was a kid, but I've never actually sat down and watched the whole thing.

So yeah, I'mma make about $100 hour tomorrow and watch Roots.

This country is spectacular.

Learn and Listen.... Translation, he should be studying and trying to advance his career, but instead is fuking around. Amiright?

Yeah...we can do whatever we want. It's actually kinda cool. Take the whole day off and go protest somewhere? Sure - no prob. Ignore all of it entirely and just do your normal work? That's ok too. They are just giving us the "space" to "explore, learn and listen". Some resources are provided...TED Talks, videos, books, poems etc...

It's actually kinda important to me and I do care. I could blow off the day and go fish, but that's not right. I do actually want to sit down and watch Roots and then think about some things.

My company is alot more badass than that.....Since I am in charge, I tell them on Friday to STFU and punch that time clock

I figure they'd say there would be one less mouth to feed if you weren't around. It's pretty reasonable to conclude that you're a dead beat who sponges off your mom and Katie. So it's just as reasonable to conclude that they would be better off without you. You have never given any reason suggesting that you're a contributing member of society. Yet you buy a car, guns, and claim to have money in the bank, all without income from any legal source that can be inferred from your internet forum posts.
