Your problem Illashee is that you think anyone even slightly right leaning is an uneducated, knuckle dragging, sister humping Trump supporter. I lean slightly right of center but not by a ton. You mischaracterize my beliefs constantly when in fact I am more level headed and closer to being neutral than yourself. I think many Democrats are decent people and I will even vote for good Democrats. That is because politics are on a spectrum, they are not a dichotomy no matter how much you try to convince yourself of it. But more likely, simplifying an issue and categorizing into only two boxes (my box is good your box is bad) is probably easier for your small brain to comprehend and to better simplify complex things.

Something happen to you in the past you want to share that took you so far left?

Illashee never writes a post longer than a few sentences. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise though. I’ve pointed this out in the past. To be taken seriously requires having a degree of depth/substance and demonstrating understanding that is a bit more than just a surface level or rudimentary. Illashee fails to show any depth... about anything. This is why nobody really takes him seriously.

It is interesting how the political left takes pride in embracing diversity except when it comes to diversity of thought. I see Republicans being more open-minded and willing to listen than Democrats... and that comes as a big surprise to me.

Dos Muchos, wise words!

I was just outside as I started loading the pickup for this upcoming weekend of deer season, and I closed the tailgate (not slammed) and immediately a bull cracked off a bugle very clsoe by! Hearing things like that sure puts things in perspective, a good perspective!

The yard elk have been going crazy for the last week, as they really started acting up at my place last Thursday night. There have been 4 bulls around the place quite often as soon as it's dark.

Monday morning I finished my conference call at 5:15 and I kept hearing "something" outside, but was ignoring the disturbance (I thought it was the kid or wife listening to a pod cast) until it dawned on me the elk were so close I could hear the bugles from inside the house! I walked out on the deck and 4 different bulls were close enough (in the dark) to be heard from inside the house! Tuesday morning was a replay of Monday, pretty neat-o if you ask me. Wednesday (today) I was up a few hrs earlier at 2:45 to work on a bid. I let the cat out, and walked outside to see if the rain/wind had stopped (been nautical the last few days) and coughed. BAM, cow-call maybe 50yds away! "Holy shait" I said to myself, another one, and another, soon they were all yappin' it seemed. The neighborhood herd was between my place and my neighbors place, combined there's a couple of acres of "pasture" available for them to graze in.

I talked back a little, just enough to re-assure myself that I'm not an elk, but they didn't seem to mind. I could hear them walking around, every time a car drove by all the conversing stopped until the tailights went around the bend. The cat was soon wet from the pasture grass and we both tired from listening to the language we couldn't understand. 3am, I went down to my office to work. And yet I'm thinking of moving away due to implants and political climate...hmmm, times they are a changin'!

Phukk politics!

It's funny when people call being wrong "diversity of thought".

2+2=4 you dumb cvnt, and saying 2+2=5 isn't diversity of thought, it's just being a fuckin retard.

LOL Keith and 1 x 0 = 0 are so far to the right that they accuse centrists as liberal.

They don't like Inslee because he supports windmills. They do cause cancer you know because Doctor Trump said so.

I'm more conservative and Republican than most that have labeled me "liberal" because of my vocal mistrust/distrust/contempt for trump, that clown is the wrong person for the wrong job, proving it again and again by filling the swamp to depths that were unimaginable in any of our previous administrations... he's much better suited for the center square in Hollywood squares or the host of The Price is Right.

This isn't about the economy, or even D Vs R it's about the low character, non existent ethics and moral decline that trump has made acceptable, leading the easily lead down to his level and making a mockery of the USA, all in the name of personal gain and ego.

Vote trump....out.

Cross the next bridge when we get to it.

Priorities.

Your example is a false equivalency. Facts cannot be disputed but ideas can be. Diversity of thought is centered around ideas. Within the context of this discussion, it relates to politics and the idealogical difference between conservatives and leftists. Neither are particularly wrong. They primarily differ in thought around what the role of government ought to be. Conservatives believe in the government having a minimal role whereas leftists believe the role of government to be considerable. You know this.

There is no sore “vagina” but I expected to see a more thought filled post from an “educated” man. But par for the course seems to be acting indignant instead of backing down. It’s a similar trait to what Evo has.

Now would be the appropriate time to dismiss yourself from the discussion.

Thanks for that story. Really cool to have horny bulls talkin [Bleeeeep!] to each other so close.

But....do you not see the irony in that you say “Phukk politics” and yet you are the one thinking about leaving paradise because by the sounds of it some libtards are moving in?

I work with conservative Trump lovers, have one if those home made giant Trump 2020 signs a stones throw away from my house, and I hate Trump, but I would never consider leaving my home because of that.

I must be so far to the right because my ideology and thought process differs from yours.. Go back and read, I've stated Inslee did a great job with the Covid, better than most Governors. He led well in the moment and as a state (metro/populated areas). He sucks fiscally, period...

Windmills? I wish I had property that had windmills.

If you are looking to Cato for your "facts" about economics, you may as well be listening to Hannity or Tucker, they are just as accurate.

Washington State consistently ranks in the Top 10 for income (10th right now), and is in the bottom 1/3 or so for overall tax burden (29 out of 50 right now).

We are #10 in the country in GDP per capita, and #19 in economic growth (GDP).

When schit hits the fan nationally, we are consistently one of the last, if not the last state to feel the pain, and we are one of the first, if not the very first to begin the recovery, with a smaller dip in between the two than most anywhere else.

Why would we want to switch to a party that has proven since the 80s, both nationally and locally, that looting the taxpayers for the rich is their goal?

As with whining about economics by most who are ignorant of it, the whining comes from the Socialist counties that take far more tax dollars than they produce, all the while complaining about us 206ers who are paying their way.

Fish on...

Steamer - goes to the dark side looking for enlightenment, reason and rational discussion.

rofl

This, of course, confirms my suspicion that Steamer is a retard and should not be taken seriously. Knucklehead hasn't learned a thing in all his time here. I bet his school just gave him a degree so he'd leave.

Right, who doesn't keep the rainy day fund? I mean, do you walk life living paycheck to paycheck or do you save some for those [Bleeeeep!] up situations in life that happen? When you spend more than you have coming in, it creates problems.... But then again, you can just RAISE TAXES to compensate for the differences.

This is something that should be taught in school at a younger age. It's a sad deal for the younger generations to come.

So, Keith, in spite of the fact that Washington State ranks well in every facet of the economy, you agree with Cato that we have the worst economy in the nation, and it's Inslee's fault for not having a rainy day fund?

I see your economics degree is being put to good use.

This reminds me of Spent Metal telling us how amazing Trump is at "the economy", and I showed him actual facts that show our economy is worse off with Trump, and he said that "numbers" aren't facts.

This are the kinds of dipshits who vote against their own interests every day because they are too dumb to manage simple numbers.

It's not worth arguing Todd.. An apple is apparently not an apple.

The state budget passed by Washington state lawmakers in March had a $4.5 billion hole blown through it.

The State’s Economic and Revenue Forecast Council predicted the current 2019-2021 budget will fall short of needed revenues by an estimated $4.5 billion. The 2021-2023 budget is predicted to be $4.3 billion below what was estimated in February.

But hey, we rank very well in every facet of the economy. I totally understand the logic...
