I had a buddy years ago throw his rod into the blackberries after losing a dandy steelhead.. Fighting it and just about to beach the fish (probably low 20's) and hook popped out and it went into a 2 minute temper tantrum. I never laughed so much, most entertaining part was watching him wade through the brambles to get to his rod...
