snit Three Time Spawner Registered: 03/08/99 Posts: 1814 Loc: Wenatchee, WA	The Gorton's had been strip mining the Sea for a long time before Slimy Slade came around but he definately helped the family/industry while significantly hurting the resources with his long term tenure! The Booth/Smitch chit show hurt locally (personal opinion)...herds haven't rebounded (IMO); throw in WDFW poor choices since then (wolves, cougars mgmt), winterkill, wildfires, etc and the big game has really taken it in the shorts the last 25 years or so. _________________________ ..."the clock looked at me just like the devil in disguise"...
