Not unexpectedly, the Senate just requested former President DJT come on down and testify at his impeachment trial. All that pent up rage and self righteous indignation at being treated like the scum that he is needs to come out, what better place than the Senate floor in front of the country? I'm looking forward to him breaking similar to Colonel Jessep in A Few Good Men, then being escorted out by armed guards and not understanding what he just did. Make an example of that cocksucker. Hand him the rope, let him tie the noose and slip it over his head.....nice and easy. We could have a lottery on who gets to kick the chair.

No matter how you look at this impeachment, it is already tainted. I have not heard one source even giving hope that a democrat would vote not guilty, and not one that has not been counting which republicans are open to voting guilty. It is pretty disgusting that both sides take an oath to be impartial, but by everything I have seen, about 90% or more of them have made up their mind before the trial. It would be really nice if they could at least fake it.

Kathy McMorris Rogers (Republican Representative from Eastern WA) has been interviewed by a Spokane reporter, it will air in full tomorrow.
From the teaser clips it appears they asked her some difficult questions about her support for Trump and how she feels about his presidency. Her responses were poor at best, hesitating and looking down.
I have no idea how much it was edited to look this way.
I'll be watching.

What's really sad is that Republicans probably want him gone for good, but are so afraid of him and his merry band of goons that they don't dare say a peep. Off the record conversations indicate he has no support in the House or Senate, other than a couple of wack jobs.

If it was a secret ballot he'd be convicted in a second...but the cowardly GOP reps and Senators are afraid of all the fuckin morons that think Trump is the goddamned Messiah.
They let the crazies in, and now the crazies are in charge. I don't feel sorry for a single one of those fuckin cowards. I hope they all get primaried by even crazier nutfucks and get to watch the GOP drive right off a cliff.
