Dunno. Plenty, I'd imagine. Depending on the type of business, office spaces in Seattle are running at about 80% full (per building), and the individual offices are only running about 10-15 percent in the office on any given day.

Amazon and Microsoft have both done lots of testing in the past, seeing how it would work if they had much or many of their workforce work from home; they both decided against it, they get a lot more productivity with butts in seats.

Most of the tenants in my buildings are lawyers, followed by medical professionals and a handful of larger tech companies...the lawyers and doctors all come in, but at greatly reduced staffing...the tech companies? Some haven't been in their space for going on 9 or 10 months now.

As things open back up we'll see who comes back, and who doesn't...but as for now, even those that aren't sending anyone to the office are paying rent and keeping it up.

My handful of retail tenants...restaurants on the street level...all are in the shitter. A couple of big national retailers have shut their doors, too.

We'll see.

Got my refundable deposit in.

Since I'm way down in the queue and the simple fact that the truck isn't out yet and I'm probably 2 years out from release date, I've got plenty of time to:

a) See if the final release version is truly as ugly as the prototype.
b) I'll have 2 years of reviews from those that got theirs to find out if it sucks or not.
c) Two more years of no auto payments.
d) Deposit is refundable so I can always bail.

I'm hoping the truck is not as ugly as the prototype, kicks ass, and can get me anywhere I need to go and back on a charge.

I think I went with the 3-motor option with the auto-driving package.

I'm pretty sure the release truck is going to be smaller than the prototype - something about the prototype not being able to fit in a standard single garage.

Gotta hold off on the floor mats for now.

What I really need to do is get solar panels put up on my roof that charge up the Tesla house battery and recharging system.

Time to go off grid and doing my part to drop those rising oil prices....
