Coach Pepple was still coaching? Damn. He was already a legend in the 80s when I was in high school.

His 1981 Islanders lost the title game to Shadle Park, a team featuring Mark Rypien, Scott Poole, Tom Peterson and Mark Anderson and coached by Dave Robertson, when the Highlanders scored what appeared to many to be a late basket.

I remember watching the highlights of this game my senior year in HS. I thought the shot was late. Rypien was a good athlete and could throw a football 70 yards later at Wazzu.

Damn you Ruth! You were suppose to hang in there until AFTER the election!!!!!

Anyone know how long (or soon) POTUS can get in a new justice seat?

The US as we know it is flat our scrooooood if POTUS can being in a new judge before he's booted out of office.

...and if he's re-elected, well, we were already foooooked and screwing with the Justice system at that point on seems fitting.

Might as well go down in flames at that point.

It's important for the Senate to "give the people a voice in the filling of this vacancy" by waiting until the new president takes office.

My uncle played with him at Kansas. He should have been a Husker, though and I never forgave him for that. Same with Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders and Marshall Faulk. Angry noises!!!

I remember listening to the game against SF when, as a rookie I believe, he scored something like 5 TDs and by so many different ways. He touched the ball, he scored.
