Texas is a 3rd world country now, and that's just from deregulating one single utility from federal regulation.

One.

14 MILLION people were without power, and nearly half a million people are still without power, and as the power slowly comes back on, another cold front is on the way for the weekend and it will likely go back off.

7 MILLION people are being told to boil their water in Texas, but not that many can, because a goodly portion don't have any water at all. I watched them on TV dipping water out of swimming pools and boiling snow in their yards.

I wish Texas had seceded last month so my tax dollars didn't have to pay for those fuckin right wing Socialists...and I wish all the right wing Socialists everywhere else that want to secede had moved to Texas last month, too.

Thankfully that "free" market is taking care of the people so cheaply and efficiently...by absorbing what will be billions in tax dollars that those of us who aren't fuckin deadbeats are paying for.

So Rafael didn't have any power, so decided to hang out at the Ritz-Carlton on the beach in Cancun for a week...while most of his constituents were without power or water, and some were dying.

When it was pointed out to him that this is a pretty gigantic dick move...he claimed it was his young daughters' faults, and that he was just flying them down there, and coming right back.

Unfortunately his wife had been texting the neighborhood about their trip to Cancun...strangely enough, her story did not jive with Rafael's, which is crazy, because he always is such an honest man. Very trustworthy.

So he lied, again. Not a big shocker there. Ballwashers, cultists, and sycophants won't care...because they just don't care.

Oh, one more thing...he left his dog alone in the freezing house, while he intended to be gone for a week.

P.S. While Rafael was ditching his constituents to chill on the beach in Mexico, his former opponent for his Senate seat, Beto O'Rourke, created an all volunteer phone bank that contacted 750,000 senior citizens in Texas and helped as many as possible that needed it find food, water, warmth, and shelter.

AOC put together a fundraising drive and raised a million dollars in an hour and gave it to five charities in Texas that were directly serving those without food, water, warmth, or shelter in Texas.

Rafael left for a week, and left his dog, alone, in a freezing house.

He's probably pretty stressed out about his incitement of the failed insurrection and coup, so I'm sure the cultists will give him a pass for all of this. Can't do the peoples' work when you're stressed out!
