Evo, you do understand that only people testing positive for C19 are counted. The reason experts say C19 is being under counted is because unlike the flue, only actual positive tests are used in reporting.
C19 has the same problem as the flue, where illnesses and deaths aren't captured in total by just counting the positive tests. Only with the flue they inflate the number to show what may be a more accurate counting.

COVID is deadlier than the flu, i will give you that... but its not more contagious...

I'm not a subject matter expert on COVID-19 but I volunteered to be our program manager for testing and wrote our work statement for our testing contract that was recently awarded. I've talked to a lot of doctors, pharmacists, and health care providers the past 6 weeks. The tests have to receive FDA emergency use authorization. I found this site which shows the COVID-19 tests that are authorized, https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/...Molecular-TestsSome of the tests also will detect certain type of influenza.
