Kentucky is one of the more beautiful states I have driven through and spent time in.
While it may be easy to point and laugh and what you deem to be a hick state, take a look at our own, or just the sh!t hole that is Seattle, before throwing stones.

I was there a couple months back it's a nice state.. No wait its a fuking shithole just like Idaho..

Stick to the nice places like the Seattle metro area, Willamette valley, and California. Nothing but racists and peodphiles in the red states.

Correction, Idaho is a beautiful state inhabited by anti American sh1theads.

Kentucky may have some pretty sights...but...

#48 in fiscal stability.

#44 in health care.

#40 in economy.

#47 in poverty.

#45 in education.

#49 in the Socialism Scale...they take $2.61 for every tax dollar they contribute, and 40% of the entire state's income is federal assistance.

Median income: $27,000

Etc., etc., etc...

It is a shithole in every single social, economic and educational category...but by all means, tell me how nice looking the trees are.

Their parks aren't dual purpose campgrounds like Seattle/pnw.

You country bumbkins are comparing rural places to urban places which is always gonna be apples to oranges. How about comparing Louisville to Portland?

I googled crime statistics and found some fancy website for real estate:

Louisville is less safe than similar areas and scores a 473.4 and has “higher than average crime”.

Portland is considered okay and scores a 302.0 “lower than average crime”.

I am sure many places in Louisville smell like piss and I am pretty sure the rural places in Kentucky have similar folks to rural places here in WA.

It's pretty easy to have a low crime rate when you don't enforce any laws.

Downtown Louisville seemed nice in comparison to Downtown pdx, sea, or sfo..

I spent a summer in Kentucky (about 60 miles south of Louisville). It was hot as hell and pretty boring, but it was easy on the eyes, and folks were friendly. Louisville was a bit "rough," even then, but it is a large city, so.... Kentucky gives us bourbon, so there must be SOME redeeming qualities afoot there.

To McConnell's credit (he doesn't deserve a ton), he sponsored radio adds on 100 stations to promote vaccines. I have full confidence he'll find a way to turn this apparent good to evil, but at least for now, kudos to you, Moscow Mitch. Rand Paul is an irredeemable, arrogant a$$hole. Glad he was not my doctor. Surprised he didn't get along better with Trump, but at least he has enough sense to know that guy's a bit much....
