Yesterday I launched my boat at the Camas/ Washougal ramp, and the fee was $6.00. I think that this is high. What are the usual fee's around the region for launching? I have been spending $2.00 at the Ridgefield ramp. By the way I won't be using the Camas/Washougal ramp anymore. The approach angle is too shallow, and I had to back too far in to get the boat off of the trailer. What does everyone else think?

Great question! In my view, we are getting screwed badly here. We're paying a boat registration fee, a trailer license fee, a fishing license fee, and a ramp fee. Have they forgotten anything else?? We are paying W/B taxes (10%) on all sporting goods and a special tax on boat gas which is supposed to pay for ramps. Also, the Ports are funded by property taxes! In my case, about $250 per year- for nothing.

Thanks for your reply. I had forgotten about all of the other stuff. Dang! I don't feel too bad about spending the $2 bucks at Ridgefield now.

You can buy a yearly pass for the Camas/Washougal launch for about $30 that gives you unlimited access. Payback after only 5 uses....Just fyi,
