In west Pierce County born and raised
On the river was where he spent most of his days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in his neighborhood
Evo got in one little fight and Katie got scared

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

This thread has a few good story lines...but I am glad your place didn't burn down, and I hope the fire is actually out.

Fires are no laughing matter these days.

Fish on...

That's an insane amount to spend on living in a trailer park. Makes a regular single family house, expensive as they are, seem like a really good deal.

Trailer park or not, I'm glad the fire didn't sweep through your mom's home Evo.

That fire retardant they spray is way worse for you than the COVID vaccine so be safe!

I can see in that pic that the trailer has a big opening in the skirting. It looks like something is growing out of there so it has been open a while. No wonder you have possum problems! I don’t know why the fuk that skirting isn’t closed up already……oh wait……I do know why…..

After having a rather nasty fire blow thru the lower Green River Valley here earlier in the summer, it’s a scary unpredictable animal for sure. We had crews and copters here for nearly a week keeping that crap from flashing back up. We all got “Fire Wise” reel quick here at my place, and I still have the emergency water lines layed out - just in case we have to dance that dance again...

Take Care Nate, and glad to hear the fire folks got your fires out.

Snuck out to pick some berries above GW yesterday, about 2:00 pm saw a substantial mushroom cloud to the east, judging from the smoke today it doesn't look like it is going to go out on it's own.

Be careful out there... especially you smokers.

Glad to see your home was spared from the fire. Only proper way for a trailer to be destroyed is by a tornado! In fact, a tornado's intensity is measured by how many trailers were destroyed in its path, and they stop counting at five.

Wildfire isn't funny. Three of our relatives' homes burned to the ground in the Carlton Complex fire. One summer, I fought fire with a DNR crew stationed in North Bend. We fought fires in Hobart, Maple Valley, Ravensdale and outside of Enumclaw, along Hwy 410. That season, the biggest fire we responded to was several hundred acres; the smallest was a fire near Tanner Mill, which a lady put out with a dishpan of water. That was kinda funny when we showed up with a full crew and couldn't find "the smoke".

I'm surprised that the trailers didn't attract a tornado big enough to blow out the fire.

In all seriousness, you're right.

As I may have written before, I was once driving up Hwy 101 north of Santa Barbara while a wildfire was reported near Lake Cachuma...many miles from where I was. So I drove through that famous tunnel and I emerged on the other side into a friggin wildfire...complete with burning branches on the roadway and intense heat cooking my car.

There was no turning back so I floored it and escaped a 1/4 mile later. Scarey shitt.

Saw that one burning when I came home yesterday around 3:30. Saw another one light up earlier in the morning down near the Burke that was put out rather quickly once SFD got on scene. Not very often I see a fire...let alone two in a day.

Does it make a me bad person that when I see one of these fires my first thoughts are:

"Another god damn Tweakerville homeless tent camp going up in flames. Good."

DanS would have a freaking hay day up here in C-Attle. Pretty sure he'd run out of gas before he burned out all the Tweakerville Encampments.

We had a rather large one up on Lake City and the residents of that camp painted a sign on a tarp: Zombie Land

The city cleaned that one up before any gas was accidently spilled and lit there.

As for your fvcked traffic comment - that's just normal C-Attle fvcked up traffic at that time of the day. Actually, it's bad at all times of the day around here.
