Now now, boys and girls. Let's not bicker! If someone wants to tell about their hole, then that is fine. If they don't wanna tell, then that is also fine. To each his own. Myself, this is my first year, so I don't HAVE any secrets to tell!! But, bragging about fishing is as old as fishing itself, so I can see where people would be proud of the success they found in "their" hole, and want to share their story. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But, they also have no right to be pissed if their hole is crowded next time they go there. As said above--it's a Catch 22. Anyways, I'm going to go try to find this "gorge" you folks keep mentioning. Got out my Thomas Guide and WA. Atlas, and figure I'll start up by Metzler's Park. I don't mind walking (thus, the wife and kid stay home) and figure I have to go where the fish ARE--can't catch many where they ARE'NT. Caught a dozen or so salmon on my hometown Carbon my rookie year--looking forward to my 1st steelhead. Suggestions gladly accepted. Happy fishing.
