Anybody in Afghanistan deserves whatever happens to them for trusting the US Government. The US Government has no credibility now. It didn't have much before but now it has none. Imagine being told by the US Government "Hey you come work for us, we take care of our people, if you translate for us, we have your back, if you gather intelligence for us, we won't leave you behind." Are they going to believe the United States Government or are they going to believe all those videos online. Think how many people's lives are now over simply for trusting the United States Government.

The Afghans didn't want us there. We went there and let the opium farmers grow opium, meanwhile the taliban shook them down and used that money to buy weapons and explosives. Then we burn their fields and the opium farmers joined the taliban. Then we provided fertilizer so they could grow wheat, they turned around and sold that fertilizer to the taliban which used it to make IEDs which blew up millions of dollars of equipment and more importantly killed American lives.

Supposedly we where there to help the Afghanis. Instead we let the CIA have free run, torturing people in their black site prisons. Like the Salt Pit, look it up, legitimate actual torture took place. People were tortured mercilessly even to death there in an underground prison, because we were there to help them. The US Government was just picking people up off the street. Sure some were terrorists but most weren't at least they weren't until they were black bagged and tortured by the US Government. Laid Saidi who was apprehended for saying a word for tires, that was mistaken for the word airplane. He was tortured due to a simple misunderstanding, that could have easily been dealt with, without months of torture. There were many such cases. How do you think the Afghanis felt about that? Read the 6700 page Committee Study of the Central Intelligence Agency's Detention and Interrogation Program. How many hearts and minds did we win over with the torture at black sites? Do you wonder why the taliban has such widespread support?

The US government is a corrupt political establishment and anybody who actually works or worked for this gang of criminals should do nothing but apologize to everyone they ever meet forever and beg for forgiveness. This occurred under multiple administrations of both parties. Vote the bastards out, vote out each and every incumbent. No politician in either party has any right to govern anybody anymore.

You guys continue to pretend that ending terrorism or some other made up goal was why we were there.
