Rich, Rich, Rich,

We aren't scared by your paranoia tactics. After seeing the anti-vaxxer anti-masker selfish assholes in the past year, we already realize we are doomed. So you can't scare us.

However, once we are gone, the mighty Kings and the Steelheads of the Salish Sea rivers will once again rule. And all will be right with the world once again.

Appropriate she make the announcement, Treasury Sec. and all...

US Dollar is no longer Reserve currency either or the "Petro Dollar" since about 12 days ago... Corporate Media has a blockade on this information..

Oil is no longer traded in dollars by any agreement... Countries no longer need US dollars or Treasuries to purchase goods such as oil or other stuff... Countries are offloading dollars and bonds as fast as they can right now...

The media wont tell you because you have to hold the empty bag in the end... Soon enough though with the 30% inflation report on its way...

The Dollar has less than 30 days of life left before it goes "poof"... Guess what happens then??? COLLAPSE of all Corporate Government, local, state and federal...

For those of you who haven't been around the block before, this is how it works:

Every so many years they have to either stop spending money they don't have or raise the debt limit. The democrats want to do away with the debt limit entirely, the republicans want to stop spending. Both sides want their base worked up, so they both agree to put off the normally scheduled time to deal with this (months ago) and wait for the moment (weeks from now) when they can both scream that the "government will be shut down" as a result of the other side not going along.

This is probably the 7th or 8th time I've seen this play out. It's always the same. Wait for the stories about single mothers and senior citizens not getting their welfare checks because of the other side not going along. Wait for stories about poor black/brown neighborhoods (not to mention women and children), who are about to starve because the other side won't go along. Wait for Todd's posts about how this is all evil republicans' fault. Congress will hem and haw and meet at 3AM for a vote to raise it. The GOP has no spine, even if they shut down the government for a week or two nothing will come of it except paid leave for all the federal employees. It's all so tiresome.

Bottom line, we have a bunch of children running the country who think you never have to pay your debts. The most that might come out of it is that the president gets a BJ from a portly jewish intern, just like Bill Clinton did during the shutdown he presided over.

Wising up I see. Liquor is much better currency than those highly transact-able yet depreciating fiat dollars. I know lots of people who will eagerly trade goods or services for liquor. Not as widely accepted but still holds its value at least!

Streamer,

There will be no deal this time,,, there cant be a deal because everything has changed and the dollar itself is collapsing... They want it to crash this time to usher in the "great reset"

Everybody thinks they will just take out more debt, print more money and the "beast" will just keep on chugging... Nope, not this time...

"Red October" everything gets wiped out in October... The MUSIC stops in October...

If you cant see the big picture right now?? Well,, I have concerns that you dont want to see it...

So, when there is a deal...then what?

Whatever it is...it will happen on a Tuesday, right?

Since the dollar only has 30 days until it is completely worthless, how about you trade me your soon to be worthless dollars for 12 gauge 00 buckshot shells? $25 each, as many as you want.

That's a pretty good deal since there won't be any value in those dollars in 29 days...I'm actually doing you a favor.

Did you know that 00 buckshot can even punch thru tinfoil helmets...you'll be wanting all you can carry.

Fish on...

Todd

Pretty darn good explanation of how it goes with Congress. Kicking the can down the road is Congress' best skill, bar none.

Wow, another RichG prediction. This would be worth buying tickets to watch, if it weren't a RichG prediction.

This one could have some traction. We will wait and see. What are the dates of the Tuesday’s in October and November? It will be one of those... or possibly a Tuesday in the next few hundred years? It is coming.
