Someday I gotta learn to post pictures....
I go two kids of places for either hunting or fishing. I don't mind telling folks about the public places as they are, of course, public. Many of them are rather single access, like Kennedy Creek or Minter. Me keeping that a secret won't cut down on the crowds. Other places are often private or foreign; that takes are of the crowds. Otherwise, I just describe it generically like "Yakima River downstream of Ellensburg". Really don't see the need to post "Third rock from the right just downstream of Bustyourass Rapids."

Sheeshhh,
So posting of a fishing location is not good ?
Let’s see,
“We went out on the ocean for salmon near west port. We saw lotsa boats, a few fish caught, and we even netted a couple ourselves.
Beautiful conditions, and the kids loved the fishing adventure ....” See Picts.
Would that be admissible for posting, or do we keep it secret ? Big waters, lotsa room, tons of access, and absorbs the pressure for numbers of anglers.
In or out?
Or
My bud and I hiked into Ives’s Creek for summer run Steelhead. Tuff hike but no other fishers, and we hit 7 nice summer run Steelhead to 15 lbs ! See Picts.
In or out for posting here ?
One should know the rules, or perhaps at the very least, exhibit some common sense and etiquette. Unless one is talking about some other distant shore, another state, or Country, then itz ok to share with the masses ?
We get it.....
Me? Big water posting no big deal. Talking river Steelhead, I do have a motto..."ALWAYS HOW NEVER WHERE". I take care on blabbing small waters/creeks and rivers any more, and zero internet details. Been burned too many times over the years. Keeping in mind lots of scouting time, no internet, trial and error. Take a bud to a productive location. Then my next trip find him and his buds in there, and no room for me? Or all the fish stung before I got a chance. I remember Winter Steelhead fishing Goodman Creek on the coast for years. Small water, good smolt plant returns, lots of fish, light spinning tackle, bounce from hole to hole, solitude. Slowly, few more people found out until an article was published in Fishing and Hunting news. Ruined it and the experience fishing around 20 guys. It doesn't matter taliking now, because it's no more. Not planted. As stated earlier, I've Steelhead fished for over 50 yrs. and not many rivers left to even get an opportunity. So, even more important than ever, ""ALWAYS HOW NEVER WHERE" My 2 cents.

The walleye can have a few, it’s ok, and it seems to be working fine with them sharing little food bits with the small mouth, the largemouth, the cutthroat , some big rainbow, and all the other fish eaters that our fish management has allowed to inhabit the lake after we cleaned it up for the island beach owners...

Now, back to the fishing.
Although the shritty little boat launch sux, and ain’t worth a crap, one can launch a boat at the mega boat launch complex near the ferry terminal with ease, and make the run to the rips from Browns Pt to Saltwater park.
The cool rains have finally brought the coho to south sound in a big way.
I took the grandkids out for a go yesterday, and the fishing was as good as it gets these daze. Redondo Coho are here, and get at em while ya can.
Coho fishing has gone from a few here and there to LOTSA great looking chrome coho for many. Fish checkers with tag readers are have a blast scanning a lot of fish heads......
