Yeah, a lot of the election cases were dismissed for lack of standing. That only means that the person or entity filing the case lacked the authority to bring such a case. Like when Texas filed a lawsuit in Georgia, Texas lacked standing. Other cases filed did have standing but were dismissed due to lack of evidence. If all the massive evidence that Trump and his cronies insist is out there, you'd think some of it would have been published by now. Nothing but crickets.

I already said Biden, like most presidents before him, excepting Trump, handled the Mexican border horribly. I'm not very concerned that the illegals are voting in elections because that is a felony and getting caught means getting deported. So go ahead and get wound up over illegals voting, when it's been found to be a rare occurrence.

There are only more Rs charged with crimes because more Rs commit crimes than Ds. No, Ds are not perfect, just fewer of them committing crimes. What fraud charges are bogus? The DA, judge, and jury didn't think so. Why do you? Jan 6 was nonsense? So a mob of protesters breaking into the US Capitol to prevent certification of an election is nonsense? And Trump inciting the mob to do so is nonsense? Unfortunately we'll never know what a jury thinks of that now, unless the charges are refiled in 2029.

No mental block on the tariff thing. Just reading what economists and financial experts report about the effect of massive tariffs - prices will go up on imported goods, so not the equal of inflation which affects all goods and services across the board. But since so much of the material goods sold in the US are imported, prices will go up on all those things. Maybe you should do some reading as well.

Damn few Ds joined up with Trump. Anyone not a billionaire hitching up with Trump can only be bat [Bleeeeep!] crazy.

Democrat AGs can't be the only AGs with the huevos to take on Presidents or candidates. If there was any substance to the claims about Obama's legal right to run for President some GOP AG would have litigated it. One may not like what Ferguson and others did in challenging 45's Orders but they rather consistently won.

I think the next two years, especially, will tell us a lot. Do tariffs work and bump up our economy? We'll know. Does opening up all the fossils fuel production lower prices? We'll know. Do the proposed tax cuts stimulate the economy for the middle class? We'll know. If they work out then many of us will have to reconsider our views. If they don't then the same reconsideration will need to occur among others. Will be interesting times.

This is the way.

Let things play out. If things Trump does don’t work out, it warrants criticism. What we observed during his presidency did not drastically impact the average person’s life to the degree the media and radical left have claimed. It simply hasn’t. If anything, people were slightly better off. So far, Trumps proposals and policies are considerably better than anything proposed by team Harris/Waltz.

Conversely, if things he does actually improves the quality of life for the average person, many people here will have to reconsider their views of Trump. Problem is, neither you nor Salmo have demonstrated the capacity to reconsider your views evidenced by your bizarre stances on social issues and inability to provide valid counter arguments to anything that was posted by either myself or FP and your views have not changed. I really want to believe that you believe what you said above, but it is doubtful and only time will tell.

Back when I left the Air Force I had heard the sound of the bullet passing because I was an infidal.

As I came home I volunteered as a reserve deputy sheriff for roughly four years.

I held the skull of a ten year old girl in my hands for evidence photos. Then stayed overnight to protect the crime scene.

I have the scars to remind me the past was real. I thought , how is this going on here?

I'm looking forward to changes that Trump is proposing. Some of the things that attracted me was a better energy approach, plus border security, then REAL inflation reduction that has cost real people a lot. Never mind the Dow Jones average. I like to think that the true protection of women, girls and children in a restroom free of freaks will soon be possible; I like the idea of holding criminals accountable, and that women who have devoted their life to women's sports won't have to compete with a man who did or didn't cut off his penis. I like the idea of states running the schools and that the nation doesn't really need an education department. I personally think that Donald Trump needs a personality transplant, but I voted for the policies, not the person. Or did I just vote against Kamala ?

Well Tug, it looks like you voted to have a committee of retired generals prepare a list of currently active generals deem "unfit." By unfit, Trump wants to oust leaders not loyal to him and who instead remain loyal to the Constitution that they took an oath to defend and protect. As Trump said in his campaign, he wants to use the military against civilians inside the US, which happens to be against the law.

Trump wants his homie (read loyalist sycophant) Rick Scott elected Senate Majority Leader so that he won't be bothered by any checks and balances, as intended in the Constitution. I sincerely wish that every Trump voter gets all the chaos and clusterfvckedness rained down upon them that they voted for. It's the collateral damage to the Constitution and the nation that concerns me.

Trump’s nomination of Pete Hegseth, a Fox News commentator, as Secretary of Defense suggested a potential purge of generals who prioritized progressive diversity policies opposed by conservatives. Hegseth and the retired generals could aid Trump’s promise to remove generals who prioritize progressive diversity policies. Hegseth has criticized Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General C.Q. Brown, for “pursuing the radical positions of left-wing politicians.” Trump has also said he wants to remove unfit generals involved in the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle. Trump pledged to demand mass resignations of top military officials behind the chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal, citing their perceived failure to achieve a successful outcome. He specifically targeted generals who were involved in the war effort, stating that he wants “generals who know how to win” rather than “woke” generals.

Trump never said anything about using the military on civilians in his campaign. Play the clip if I'm wrong or stop lying about this.

Instead of Scott we got neocon never Trumper, Thune, whose positions are indistinguishable from Liz Cheney's. So the Military-Industrial-Complex has a check and balance on him. So you got that going for you I guess.

Nice progressive liberal tolerance there on your wishes for Trump voters.

“or stop lying about this.”

Not telling the truth and expecting us to buy into that , or you’re a DS, is what they seem to be really good at.

Wonder how much truth is/was behind the jobs they have Pursued here in support of our fisheries over the years....

Pretty sure DEI is very present already in military culture. Nowadays, I don't think it needs any help or boost from the left. If left alone, talent and being a good soldier is evidence enough for promotion regardless of race. My father, career soldier and decorated WW2 vet, did not like the way the army changed policies per political winds.

I'm looking forward to the purge of bad military leadership. He'll be the woke Generals nightmare.. haha

For those who study history, Uncle Joe Stalin purged the Russian military to install politically correct (by his definition) officers. There were reasons why the US changed from a patronage system of civil service to merit-based. We'll see how the changes work out.

If Trump's policies are implemented and make the US closer to its ideal of "all men are create equal", if we achieve a more peaceful world where leaders are not rewarded for invading other countries, if he can bring actual peace, and not the absence of war, to the Middle East where Muslim, Jew, and Christian can live in peace, if we can have an internal US economy that values both the environment and the people who dwell there then I will certainly recognize that he was right.

I forgot to add that if solves the illegal immigration/fentynal issues without crashing the economy or deporting American Citizens I will be very happy for him and the country because somebody finally did something.

CM,

DEI takes away from the notion that “all men are created equal.” It reiterates the victim hierarchy through the concept of intersectionality. Trans, gays, blacks etc. are suddenly given preference over others because of their race and sexuality. Democrats embrace this idea. Honestly, is that truly being equal? Trump doesn’t support DEI nonsense. He embraces equality.

There was 0 new wars under Trump and he established peaceful relations with Russia and North Korea. Instead of given kudos for his diplomacy, media/military industrial complex spun this to instead claim he is friendly with evil dictators. He actually brought peace.

He is the only candidate that spoke about our immigration problems and aimed to resolve them. He’s spoken about the fentanyl problem. The economy grew under Trump coming out of the pandemic, all while not deporting American citizens.

He’s literally checked every single box of your criteria you just listed. But instead of acknowledging this, you support the other political party that stands for literally everything against what you just listed. You are almost as nuts as Salmo.
