I have a better than new Remington Model 700 .270, 21" barrel and synthetic stock that needs to find a good home. Better than new because I found and used a local and legendaru gunsmith who was an expert on Model 700's do a trigger job on it. It's a RCH (red something hair) pound trigger with no play. You think about firing and it does. The rigger is smoother than butter

The rifle belonged to a long-time member on the board here before me and he had taken great care of it as well and as he told me "Feed it the bullets it wants and it will hammer the same hole time and time again." He will more than likely chime in once seeing this, or he won't.

Even with factory ammo, it was a nail driver.

If you want just the rifle, no rings and no scope, asking $600.

What's on it now is a Leupold FX-3 6x42 (BigStick Approved) in some Tally LP rings. I had Leupold install the MOA elevation turret on it, which makes it BigStick Certified. Has a Butler Creek flip lid on the objective, but eye piece Butler Creek lid broke off, so you don't want it.

Scope and Rings are $400. Not selling them without the rifle. Get your own scope and rings.

Take it all for a $1,000 or an offer I can't refuse. You won't find a better shooting .270 out there. Would make for a great hunting rifle for any new shooter that wants quality and proven rifle and cartridge.

If you fish beads, you probably want a gay-arse Creedmore or some crap like that. True drift fisherman and metal slingers will appreciate the Model 700 in .270.

Act now and I'll toss in a plastic .270 ammo box that contains 13 170 gr. Nosler Accubond Tropy Grade and 10 130gr. Winchester XP ammo.

I have photos, but don't feel like posting them here. Happy to email them to interested parties.

Real offers and inquiries only, please. I'd hate to put someone in jail with RichG because they couldn't help but be a smart-ass and offer me a pinner or Jonas's bike. THC and I don't mix and I ride an indoor stationary bike.

I don't come here often anymore, so don't PM me. Please send me an email. e.l.p.a.r.q.u.i.t.o at g.m.a.i.l DOT c.o.m

If a deal is made, we can figure out the bullshart legality crap and hopefully meet at a gun store somewhere in the middle. We can split the cost of the bullshart forms transactions.
