Just wondering if anybody on the board has any salmon or steelhead tattoos. If you do have fishin' tats, then where did you get them done?

Thanks

Justin

The ONLY place in seattle to get tattoos done is slave to the needle. Its in ballard, ask for damon or christopher gay. They are expensive but when its for life, whats money? Every artist there is world reknown for there talent in tattoo work. Each have won numerous awards. I have a few tattoos, my first and favorite is a tribal salmon somewhat like the BARE logo on my sholder. I have a few friends who are tattoo freaks and they will tell you as well, its the only place to go. The work they do is awsome, I've been stoked every time I've left. Oh and dont go drunk or on pills they wont work on you, its store policy.

Justin, I got a native american salmon on my right forearm, that is how most people figure out who I am , but definately cool!!
I personally because I love there artwork would stick with something in the lines of the northwest coast indian art stuff becasue it is very good looking, classy and true to form. And definately slave to the needle is an excellent choice of places to go, they have won many awards!!!! good luck

I've always thought it would be neat to get a salmon/steelhead tattoo also. I have yet to see one I would get though. It would be pretty easy to get a native art type but I have never seen even a picture of a realistic salmon type that would make a good tatto . I'm always afraid it would look like one of those salmon stickers guys put on there canopy back windows or a trout in rigid profile. Any body got any ideas on where to come up with a picture to copy(keeping in mind potential copyright infringments) or some good tatto flash?
Here is the address of the tatto shop web page you were talking about. http://www.slavetotheneedle.com/

Thanks, guys. Glad to hear that there are so many of you with fishing artwork on ya already. I think that the Native American tats are awesome, I like the one that Superfly has, forgot you had that one, man. Now all I have to do is find a women to get a fish tatoo to match...NOT!! Can't wait to be a slave to the needle.

Beezer, Parker knows better than to try anything with me when I'm drunk at the Ranch. The Sasquatches up there do enough damage to me as it is.

Please note: Anybody who tries to tattoo a banana or a Ritz cracker on me better have a tattoo on their forehead that reads "I am suicidal" *LOL*JK*

Gimmiefish, where did you get that done?

I am also thinking about having a nude blonde on my arm holding a fin-clipped steelhead. Than I'd have my two favorite passtimes covered.

What do you call two good-looking young blondes in chest waders?

LMAO!!!!!

Be careful, Saukit2em. I've trademarked "Nuthin' Butt Plugs" for my new upcoming split business - an adult entertainment and fishing tackle store!

I was thinking on making custom hats. Aside from the "Nuthin' Butt Plugs" logo on the front, I'd put a TadPoly on one end of the hat and a ...er.... well, something else on the other end of the hat!

I have the Loomis fear no fish skeleton on my right shoulder. My wife drew up a sketch of a bear bear riding a huge chinook bareback. The bear is holding on to a piece of rope attached to a hook in the chinooks mouth. The bear has chaps, boots, spurs and a hat. Im going to get that onmy shoulder blade.
Ive seen superfly's tat. I realy like that design.

Sauk Kid, to answer your question from my site, I dont believe the Sauk/Suiattle tribe has been netting the Sauk this season and if they are they've been doing it at night and not leaving any trace of their neting.

All right, you guys, enough is enough! I can't take it anymore! I have to know!!! Thanks for pushing my buttons and laughing about it behind my back! It's probably nothing anyways. I will give you guys one last chance to tell me about the SRBC....this is your final warning!!!

If you don't...then I have no choice but to summon the great spirts of the Sauk and have them strike down on you with fishless days, lost fish, broken rods, etc. etc.

You are dealing with the most powerful forces of nature here, boyz. Before the curse takes effect, give it up!

Just kidding you guys, don't take that seriously, actually one of you, who will remain nameless , told me what the SRBC is and I thought, OK, I went to all this trouble for that? Pretty funny anyways, and to the gracious gentleman who told me, thank you kindly, and your secret is safe with me.

Later

My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiid, KID SAUK!!!

Hey PARKER???
What's up with the NABISCO tattoo? I work there and have always joked about getting one to suck up to the bosses...I am just wondering why would that even come up in a fishing forum? Is that unlucky or something? Someone else wrote something about ritz crackers. I am just wondering what is the scoop on the whole Nabisco products thing. If you guys would let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!?????????????????????? Wiggle Wart..

Wiggle Wart, have you ever heard of the term "cracker"? In case you haven't, a cracker is a beginner steelheader or an experienced one who still can't fish worth a damn. So you see, Wiggle Wart, that a with Nabisco being the most recognized cracker manufacturer, then a Nabisco tattoo would suit a cracker fisherman well. I would not suggest getting one if you are or plan on being a serious steelheader. You might just get laughed off the river.

Kevin,

I have come to the conclusion that you guys are pretty cool, but weirder than shiieeit at the same time. Devilfish? The MOON? I'm too young for that hippie stuff! Just kidding, take care and I'll see ya on the river. Look, an eagle! AAAAOOOOOHHHHRR!!

NOOOOO!

The last time those moons appeared in the SRBC hood the fishing went to pot and my biznatch left me for a raft full of looky-lus! No mas!

If you want to know about the SRBC, Kid, you gotta go through the 'nitiation first. Has somethin to do with a cigar, potatoe, blow up doll, lipstick (get's lonely in them hills), another potatoe, some pvc, butane, a 16' confession booth, a frisbee, and that Shack I was tellin you about on the river the other day. Oh, yeah, there's a bit of hiking involved too, but that don't make no nevermind!

Well...
