Hey guys I have the next few days off and really feel like hitting some different water, so I was wondering if I could get some reports on these two rivers. E-mail if you don't want to spread the news. Thankyou.

Jeff,
I'm going to send you an email with a suggestion on where to fish. Also , did you get down to the local river this weekend , if so how did you do, let me know. I got tied up at my buddies cabin on the canal this weekend so I never made it out. Too busy eating clams and oysters.

My buddy and I fished the Kalama last Saturday. The river was in good shape - up about 5 or 6 inches from previous weeks, with a good color. With any luck, we'll keep getting more water in the river. We did better lower on the river than higher. It was a combination of hunting (for the fish) and fishing. They weren't everywhere, but we were able to locate fish. We used both straight sand shrimp and straight jigs, but did better on the jigs.

Fished the Kalama this afternoon at the beginners hole. The water is as good as it gets in the Kalama - a little color and up a foot since last weekend. Saw one nice fish a guy caught earlier in the day. Verrrrry slow. If any fish came in on the high water they are spread out and it will take lots of time to find one. I'd go to the coast.
