Probably one of the most unique Grip N Grins you'll see from me. My wife with a fish she caught while in the Antarctica! Like I said, you won't see that every day!

Hey Parker...
What the heck kind of fish is that? Is that a sculpin?? Looks kind of like a fat stick...God knows I have caught my share of those in my days. I think I'm going to book a trip to Antartica to fish for these exotic species. LOL..... -wiggle wart

I was not in Antarctica, that would be my wife.

She is a UW Oceanography graduate student who applied for and recieved a National Science Foundation grant to visit the United States Antarctic Program. It's a program that teaches students and faculty how to conduct science and research in the Antarctic.

World wide, there were 40 students and faculty for this years program. At a measy 40K a pop per person, that's a cool 1.6 million of your US Tax dollars at work!

Gotta love Federal Dollars!

Oh I got the impression you were the one taking the pictures.

Sounds like an interesting program.
