I am looking for a reliable, reasonable place to get a trophy/185 mercury motor tuned up. It probably will need the oil mixture adjusted, plugs, etc. I live in Shoreline/Mountlake terrace area. Thanks in advance. mike

The only place I take my boat is Olympic View Marine in Everett. They do good work and they're honest. I've never heard anything bad about that shop, and I've heard lots of bad things about lots of other places. Too bad it's so far from you.

If you want the best, but might be a little far for you. Phil's Performax in Puyallup he only works on Merc's and he is the best by far. Ask anyone he can be hard to get your boat into though, because he always busy. Here's the number if you want to give him a try 253-845-6712. He is very honest and it will be done right the first time. He has a dyno and the only way to tune them in is under a load.
