Caught a sweet fat daddy on the snohomish on
sunday It ran right around 20lbs. This thing took about 45 min to land it was the strongest steelhead ive ever played. The damn thing had the power of a spring king. Awesome fish I sure as hell hope the picture my buddy took with his digital camera turns out cause he droped my camera in the river. And thanks to the guy who helped land it, my friend gets as guidy as a little school girl when I hook these pigs, gonna have to sit him down and have a talk. Damn the state for the early closure with some rain I bet the rivers would have gone balistic.

Right on, man, nice fish. My buddy, Brian, called me about 1:00 in the afternoon and said that some dude down below him on the Snohomish hit a pig. That's two for you in the 20+ range, good work. The state is stupid for closing the Snohomish system because I may not be a fisheries biologist but the Sky is my home river and with this many nates showing up in the low, low, low water this early has got to be a sign of a shiatload more to come in March and April. Thank you state of Washington YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN DOING A GREAT JOB.....NOT!!!

Justin-
Your right I too believe the sky would have rocked in march and april all we can do is think about what could have been. If this bogus closure happens again next year we are gonna have to raise some serious hell!!! Hope
you have been doing well lets hook up and go for some summer run, I still got your# and e-mail.

Would have loved to see what would have happened after a good rain. I too hit a long awaited fish on my last trip before the closure. What a way to go =/

I guess it means a really long trout season for some of us. cant wait til June 1!
