Is the Green River the only Puget Sound stream that is still open? While the others closed March 1st.

Don't know about the fishing, but you can walk across the upper green and not get your knees wet.

Curt, not much happening on the Green. It's pretty damn low. When the flows pick up, if they ever do, I'm gonna give it a shot. Maybe I'll see you there. Then again, I've all but given up on this season.

If you now where the fish are and you now how to fish and willing to work you will catch fish on the green. Have had 6 hookups 5 landed in the past 3 weeks. Largest was 16lbs the smallest 8 lbs. Only 6 more days to go plan on catching more.

Spoonman is right. This is a great steelie river if you know where to go and are willing to put your time in. You can't expect to pull off the road and catch fish. You have to explore a little. I know, I know, easier said than done, but it's the truth.

I love low water because the fish are always at the top of the hole. I am not usually this arrogant, but I caught 2 more on saturday a nate and hatchery about 10 lbs. I don't worry about putting posts up only three more days to go.
