You've missed the Ocean Butt fishery! It's my #1 choice of all. It's C&R all day long until you get "your model size". An awesome fishery ~ that separates the puckers from the non puckers!
Next choice has to be fall coho. However, my partner says that tuna are the ticket to heaven for the "Top Fightin Fish" in the State. Gonna due my 1st this year & hope I don't join the puckers on the gunnel.

Hot summer days in a air conditioned casino at Lake Tahoe. The aroma of the ole Monterey tuna fleet wafting thru the halls, an occasional platinum jiggler cruising by looking for a cash-scented worm. Now thass a fishery with a challenge.

I would have to say I'm with Jerry Garcia, I love me beach fishing for coho with my float and herring. Jerry I think I saw you last summer or the summer before at Fort Casey fishing for ho's. Anyway, my list: 1) Beach coho fishing 2) Summer steelhead on the Sky 3) Buoy 10, Chinook @ Coho 4) Snohomish River Coho 5) Fraser salmon 6) Spring Chinook 7) C n R dollies in the salt 8) Winter Steelhead Keep your hooks sharp! Fastwater that's a whole new topic. Here are two other "sore-arm" fisheries: Hood Canal Chum and Columbia shad. Try brushing your teeth the morning after reeling in 150 shad, a.k.a. "poor-man's tarpon," on an 1141S.

No questions here for the first three:
1 - Zipperlip River Steelhead ... big and stupid
2 - Olympic Peninsula Steelies ... big and somewhat stupid
3- Kasilof River Second-Run kings ... really big, really stupid, and really mean to boot. Backbouncing kings to 50-60 pounds in as little as 3-4 feet of water directly under the boat is a hoot!
From here, it's probably a toss-up for me!

Being partial to warm weather and water, I like fishing for summer steelies on the Sky. Chum in the Fall are also fun, but I must admit that I have never been winter steelhead or chinook fishing with Bob... that might change my mind.

Love them all,when the fish are bitting. Summer steelhead fishing would be the hardest to give up .

1. O.P. Wild Winter Steelies .
2. O.P Wild Summer runs & Skamania strain
brats (strong crazy fish).
3. O.P Summer Chinook C&R only of course
4. Summer/Fall Dollys and Cutts
5. Winter Brats (this low on the list because of last couple of poor seasons)
6. Fall salmon

I'm surprised more people didn't pick sturgeon. I did a trip on the Columbia a few years ago and it's insane. The fish were TOO big. It stopped being fun once my arms cramped up.
