Hi to all!
We moved to Concrete last june from So.Oregon. I've been reading about the great fisheries in this corner of the world for 30 yrs. With the lack of precipitation this year,I still remain optimistic for the future. I had been fly fishing the Skagit , Sauk & Cascade before the closure.
Thanks Bob for putting thought & time into your site ! I stumbled onto it while surfin'
a couple of years ago. It's been bookmarked ever since.

Hey JC and Rich,
I too am from the Rogue Valley. Born in Medford, lived in Prospect, and at the USFS Ranger station on the Applegate. Back then the small log building was THE ranger station. I caught my first trout on the Applegate, and my uncle used to take me fishing on the Rouge. My grandfather had a homestead above the covered bridge that used to be just below where the dam is on the upper Rogue. The old place is under water now. I've got a bearskin on my wall thet he shot in the orchard up there in '49. Then my dad moved up here to work for Boeing, so here I am. (Working for Boeing too.)
Welcome!!!

Hello jc, I spent 4yrs on the south oregon coast and alot of time on the lower rogue from foster bar to agness. I don't know about you but I sure miss the fishing down there. The elk and sixes where a couple other favorite haunts. Oh and the winter steelhead fishing on the west fork of the millacoma outside of coos bay just can't be beat. Well best luck up here and see ya on the river.

A belated welcome from me JC! You'll find we're a little stubborn and opinionated here, but other than that a bunch of slovenly ... opps, don't want to be too honest

Hope this area lives up to your expectations!
