At least there they talk about fishing and where good spots to fish are. you people dont even exchange any real information any more.

The two guys with a combined 8 posts are *****ing about a lack of info being exchanged on the board. Sorry the rest of us aren't the fountains of information that you two are.

The issues we talk about are very important and need attention. No better place to discuss them than here. Thats what this board is and all about.

I believe that there are a certain amount of 'trollers' and/or 'flamers.' Whether Three Man and Centerpin are the above, that can be discussed.

This is a forum that has become a venue for the formation of the Wild Steelhead Coalition, a group that is and already has done something i.e. the conformation of Pete Van Gytenbeek. There is alot of whining that takes place on this forum but as Bob says "Look at the issues that Wa fisheres are faced with: the fight for C&R and Indian Netting." These are both issues that tend to be fought out amongst us all when we are faced with travesties such as the closure of our beloved C&R season.

Some of the whining and complaining maybe just that, but alot of it opens up dialogue that leads to the issues being confronted head on. Plus we also learn alot so that we are not just spewing armchair biology.

If you look at the majority of the threads they are fishing technique, where-to and various other basic topics but there are some that deal with the issues and those are very important, even if there is alot of complaining and whining that goes on.

Some people don't like to post spots because they don't want all of your Seattle kinfolk showing up and ruining a good day of fishing when they have to share the spot with 40 guys who just troll for info. Now if you are nice and know some of these guys after a while, then you just might get hooked up, but I would watch the slack jawed comment, brah, cause ya never know how mean some of us sumbeeyotches are. And you never know how nice some of us are either. Now dance for me, Cuddles.

Yes, it is true that alot of this does sound like complaining and or bickering. But on the other hand it does open the issues and can take a rabbit trail on to something else. What better forum than here to open such topics and get other ideas and reactions from the people w/ similar interests. But people complaining about complaining are in the same boat. Keep fishing Brothers and sisters!!!!

It is extremely difficult to take serious anyone that is to stupid to spell correctly (or use a spell checker) or use even reasonable grammar.
