Ok, everyone. Break out those boot pics of you, your buddies, or anyone else unlucky enough to be "caught" with a boot! Let's see some boots! My first nomination for "Boot of the Year", goes out to our very own Saukit2em! Here's a nice 20+lb brat boot that was caught and released on the Quinault River this spring. Robbin Rhoades was too embarassed to get in to this picture with KidSauk!

That Adobe Photoshop works wonders on "chromers", doesn't it? Parker, I took the liberty of saving a myriad of boot pics from your site as I had a feeling that they were going to be removed. I just need to upload them to my site and then I will have a way to post 'em. Maybe I can get some picture hosting thing going in the mean time. Figures that the biggest clipped hatchery fish I ever caught would turn out looking like a piece of weathered driftwood.

Parker, have more respect for yo mama than to show her about to cook your fav carp n rice dinner for ya! And SAUKit J!?! That second boot is really special we've all been there too, haven't we guys . You better get Parker's boots on here soon, or this pic below of my brother's boot may take first place in "Boot Wars" :p ------------ Don't even try to talk SAUK into releasing his "it'll smoke" boots ------------ [ 04-07-2001: Message edited by: RT ]

How did you know that Bob? ... Mark Anderson and I went fishing with Nick Amato of STS today (Fri.) in his sled on the Clackamas River. I landed a boot, snake actually, but I let it go quickly without any pic taken. We each lost a nice bright fish too. Mark had an early summer steelhead on and wanted to fight it from the bank so he stepped out of the anchored boat in what he thought was a couple feet of water; turned out to be about twice that and he kinda fell getting out, allowing the fish to slack his line and it shook the jig out. No boots kept though! RT

I'll just apologize now, RT. I know you told us to keep it quiet, but your ZipperLip fish was just too nice to not post. Hang in there, the film is being "developed". Parker

While Parker is fiddling around trying to 'develope' my fish pic, I hacked my way into his computer to access his pictures. Wish I could show all of them here publicly, but this is a decent site. All I can say Mr. P is ha ha ha ha ha! That's really embarrassing dude!!! I guess I can show one of the 'clean' pics though. Notice the size of the sucker! Wow! Some of the other pics with that fish and other pics are discusting! One was of Parker actually kissing those big carp lips, as Justin took a pic w/o him knowing it. I also found in Mr. P's diary what Mr. G wanted to do with that fish. -------------- Mr. P & SAUKit's signatures: "HEY!! DON'T PUT IT BACK! Whew, thanks. It'll be good smoked."

Hey Dan, carpin' is an angling challege. It took me years to come up with my secret doughball cure for carp. I'll give you part of it ... if you want the trophy fish you need to roll the doughballs into larger 50 cent piece sizes. Also, start with molded bread before you soak them in your 'cure'. ... As for black trophy steelies Greg, so far yours takes the cake ... it's so black you can't see it against the black message box background. The X you put over your face so guys won't recognize you with it though was a good touch. ... Oh there it is. Man that is one helacious fish Greg. [ 04-29-2001: Message edited by: RT 1 ]
