With 75,000 springers over Bonneville Dam the catch rates have not been very high at the Wind or Drano. So, my question is two parts: 1) Where are these first fish over the dam going to (Deshutes)? And, 2) When will the fish be at Drano and the Wind in numbers? You secret types can email me direct.

looking at the dams up the river it appears the fish we see now are headed up the snake. i've been lucky enough to catch a couple hens and their eggs are really small. which i take as a sign they have a while in front of them before they are ready to spawn...part two .. all i know is i'm marking alot of fish but becuase of one thing or the other(fish gods)their not hitting very steady....these first fish are big... my boats has seen 2 fish 30#+.. so take your lucky charms and hit it....
