Since we've all been having so much trouble with the free picture servers in recent months ... you now don't have to worry about them!

I've added a new page entitled the Piscatorial Pursuits Visitors' Photo Album that will allow you to upload any gif, jpg, or bmp image file from YOUR computer and store it here on the site.

This means you can simply share pix in the new Gallery, or post one there, take the new name assigned to it and use it in the BB if you wish ... so simple rolleyes

Yeah right, you didn't have to track down the script for it smile

OK, I did the thing and don't see where my photo is. Just one of you and young fisherlady with a great looking steelhead. Where do the pictures go? How do we access them?

Not sure what happend to your ZaQ ... I just tried another one and it worked fine. Might try it again and make sure you let the page fully reload (on its own). The images are stored in a directory on my site and they can be accessed any time by going to the page and clicking on the link or simply by calling on the URL in your browser ... it'll be something like this: http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com/userphoto/xxxxxxxx.jpg (or whatever extension the image has).

Tuna are fine smile

Please let me know about any bugs!

Bob or RT,
I can't seem to access any of the pictures that you and others have posted. I thought I was pretty smart with a computer but it just isn't working.

Are you clicking on the "Large Image Click to View" image or the file name located to the left. The Large Image Icon is a javascript-based link and may cause problems with really old browsers ... the other link should work for everyone. Please note that the files are big and do take some time to download as well ... email me if you're still having problems.

Bob,
Thanks bud, got it now! I guess I will have to start taking the digital camera so I can upload some pictures. All the pictures I have were taken for the last 10 years have been with a regular camera.

For those having trouble with the script ... I found one thing out that you MUST keep in mind: the filname you use MUST NOT have a space in the name, an underscore _ is fine though.

If you're trying to pload something with a space in the name, make sure you rename it on your machine first smile

Thanks Bob, I figured that out when one of my file names caused repeated "java script errors" on my first posting attempt last night. Had to close out that stupid box after every letter in the title! LOL eek Anyhoo, thanks for the place to post a few pics; now we can at least see each other (or maybe that's not such a good idea after all rolleyes )
