Rich,

I'll admit it, I got nothin' on you this season. Those are a couple dandy fish you posted in the gallery.

Of course, I don't usually take a camera when I bank fish so I missed some good photo ops this year. I'm still not sure any of my fish measured up to yours.

Good job....nass feesh laugh

Thanks Dan,

I was blessed by the fish gods this year and got a good number of good sized fish. I only managed to land one over 20# but lost a couple others.

I would really like to see some pics of 20# hens, thoese are rare and awsome fish. Ive been trying to find one for my entire steelhead fishing career and have come up short. I did manage to get quite a few hens between 12# and 16#, and one 17# which is the one pictured. The buck pictured was 22#

Those are beautiful fish Rich!! smile

I was also blessed by the Fish Gods this winter. My brat catch was pitiful but for the short amount of time I spent on the rivers this late winter/spring, I caught alot of beautiful fish.

Rich, most of them are posted in the "Boot Wars" thread. Check out the latest huge 'beauty' that Parker caught!

Rich,

Looks to me like you not only got some dandy fish, but you were lucky enough to get quality photos of them.

20-lb. anythings are hard enough to come by, I consider the the twenty-pound hen to be one of the "Holy Grails" of steelehading. In all my years of steelheading, the 20-lb. hen has eluded me. I've caught dozens in the upper teens, but I seem to have reached a "glass ceiling" laugh

Keep after them, you can't catch a twenty-pound hen without your line in the water.........maybe I just figured out my problem. "Honey, would you mind if I went fishing tomorrow?" Naah, I'd never get away with it. I'll just look at photos on Piscatorial Pursuits frown

Oofta, that is one beaut of a hen at Larry's site....

Hey Dan, I noticed your picture of Dunnington. I heard he had at least one insane day on the Nooch in March. If you were part of that you're a lucky guy.

Nice fish Rich and the others who have posted them. Mine are still up at photopoint.

Be warned, some of these pics are large (over 100K) and need to be sized down a bit. I just got a print of that slab we caught with Pat Graham and hope to have it up soon.

Now trying for some bright springer pics...

Bruce,

Yeah, Tony and I had some VERY productive days on the Wynoocheee, but unfortunately I wasn't there for "the day". Of course, Tony rubbed that fact in for a good, long time. He's lucky though, weekdays off, so less crowds to hassle with.

Yup, we were heading for a long weekend up North when Dunnington called to tell the guy I was fishing with about the ridiculous numbers he got that morning. Made us a little green until we got the jigs in the water up there.
