Well It is happening again. My sticker is almost completely white and about 50% of the writing is legible. That is what we get for going with the lowest bidder. The DF&W need to give it up with these stickers. What do you all think?

I'm kinda glad to hear it. After putting that bigass, ugly yellow thing on my truck, I was thinking that white wouldn't look as bad. I figured after last year's fiasco, they'd use a better grade of ink.

Ahh, the WDFW decision-makers. What WILL they come up with next?

I figured this would happen, what with the history of WFW past record of decisions.I laminated mine and tape it to the inside window of whatever rig I'm using that day.Afterall the sticker was issued to me not my truck.Haven't they figured out to put the stickum on the face of the sticker??
I'm starting to think that our leaders have their heads up their collective a$$es.

They charge you for replacements and a plain white sticker is not acceptable. The fine for parking without a proper sticker is about $66. The ink fades off the sticker easily. Giving them up will be the last thing they do. Better go out and check the ink on your tabs. :p

I BOUGHT ALL MY LICENSES AT ONCE. THAT MEANS I CAN FISH OR HUNT ALMOST ANYTHING IN THE STATE. I THINK IT WAS 132 BUCKS. NOW HERE'S THE WASTE OF MONEY!!! THEY GAVE ME 3 ACCESS STICKERS. 1 FOR FISHING, 1 FOR BIG GAME, & 1 FOR SMALL GAME. DUH. NOW I FIND OUT WHAT YOU GUYS SAY ABOUT THE COLOR COMING OFF. DUH DUH. I JUST PUT MINE ON MY DASHBOARD. ANOTHER THING THAT REALLY TICKS ME OFF IS THE WRONG USE OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. THE GIRL SAID I COULDN'T GET A LICENSE WITHOUT IT. I ALMOST DIDN'T. WHAT IF I USED A PHONY? I KNOW THE LAW IS FOR CATCHING DEADBEAT DADS OR SOMETHING, GREAT, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT THE NUMBER IS FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHY NOT USE YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE NUMBER INSTEAD? IT'S TOO EASY FOR CROOKS TO GET YOUR SSN. I'VE BEEN THERE, IT HAPPENS, & IT SUCKS.

confused If i remeber corectly the wardens will ticket you if the access sticker is not properly placed. Which means stuck to your rear window of the vechicle. Not taped or on the dash etc. I guess to keep the kayakers from passing one around. It's all a bunch whooooy anyway. You might want to check before you get that $66 ticket

Since they started the access stickers, supposedly to keep the ramps up they haven't done a thing to the ones on the Snoqualmie. They really need the silt graded off.

As I have said before.... Using a phony SSN will work just fine.... No problem. I cannot tell you how I know this, I just know. Remember, using a phony SSN is illegal as hell, so if you get caught don't get mad at me. I would never, ever suggest that anybody try to defraud the government wink . As for the stickers being all screwed up: Why are you surprized? Idiots run this state and when you let people of a substandard mental capacity make decisions, you will inevitably get substandard results. Don't worry about the stickers, fight it in court!

You guys are looking for any little thing to get pissed about when it comes to WDFW. Ive had my sticker since they were first issued and i havent seen any fading at all. Matter of fact i havent seen one sticker on the road that has started to fade.

What about all the good things they do?? Arent we having a good salmon season so far? Summer steelhead oppurtunity? Thousands of lakes stocked? Its all there fellas, but you guys stil find a way to complain. (new liscensing system, stickers, not enough enforcement.etc....)
Give SOME credit...

I disagree with alot of things they do, but im tired of the "know it alls" filling everybody's head with negative b.s towards them(DFW).

bank walker,

All I can say is you don't expect too much, do you? If you're happy with the WDFW's efforts, I'm sure you're a big fan of Ford Explorers shod with Firestone tires, the MD-80 jackscrew, and the gas tank placement in the Ford Pinto and GMC trucks.

Hey Dan, not lookin to buy a Ford. I would never buy a Ford...PERIOD
Im in the process of turning a 84' S-10 into a go anywere fishing machine, but thats off the subject. lol
Sure, i have high standards when it comes to fising oppurtunities around here, and i could rattle off more negatives than positives when it comes to DFW.... BUT

Why bad mouth a group "working" to help what we love?? Whether we agree or not with whats goin on, we gotta help out instead of bi***.

Maybe your guys's cheap stickers helped free up some cap room for a few extra smolts??

If they leave a ticket on your window and you never contact them about it you'll never hear from them again! Unless they personally give it too you and make you sign its up to your honor. I know a couple people who got tickets and just never replied. They cant prove you ever saw the ticket! It works believe me! Its been 2 years and nothing for both of these people! Ones a Commercial driver and just got his licence renewed and guess what? Clean record despite a ticket at the Kalama 2 years ago! Maybe Im wrong but its working so far. Anyone know any different?

bank walker ~ You must be seeing the stickers that have been on the vehicle for 2 weeks or less! Keep your EYES OPEN for white blobs that resemble the same shape as the decal... bingo a faded Access Decal. They have been trying to solve this problem since the inception. My understsnding is faded or not, if it is on the rear window no ticket.

There is a lot of 666 going around. All they want to do is keep better control of the public. They want to know all little details. I hate the fact that they own and run my outdoor life. I should just go without it and not pay my fine to prove a point. Or we could try to get the PETA people on our side, without them getting on us. Anyways I find it really frustrating that I can't just go and relax while fishing without being hounded by stupid government officials that make the laws from sitting from behind their office desk. How about they go F*** themselves. They can burn in H*** and take 666 along with it.

I was told (F&G) that this sticker will not fade, the color will stay the same next year and only the year in the upper left corner will change.

If you have it on your rear window and it fades you will not get a ticket.
I have not seen a faded one yet, but on Sunday the sticker came off my brother's license while we were clamming. Luckily he saw it come off and was able to catch it.

Bankwalker: Look dude, I know that we're having a decent springer run, but the Fisheries Dept. can't take all the credit for that anymore than they can place all the blame for the crappy spring runs we've been having in years past on El Nino. Yes, we're pissing and moaning about every little thing the Game dept. screws up on, and as soon as they pull their heads out of their A$$es and start doing things right for a change, I for one will stop complaining. However, until that day comes i will continue to be critical of our state fisheries dept.

I want to apologize to everyone on this forum for my explanatory post. I just get so frustrated by the officials setting laws and giving rules that don't make much sense, that I blew up. Again sorry, but that is how I feel.

Not only are the access stickers crap, but now for razor clammin you pin on your license summary tag which is made of the same material. Well it took quite a beating with all the rain and wind last weekend and what do you know, half the yellow coating along with my license info flaked off. Is it so hard to get a quality sticker, I see thousands on cars that don't fade, sorry forgot we were talking about WDFW. mad mad

Well, here I am getting rwady to head north. That means a fresh coat of wax on both trucks to make it easier to get the tar off when we get there. In the process, I'm also Rain-X'ing my windows. Inadvertently got some on my sticker on the back window ... presto, all yellow and black print is gone, totally, then the sticker started to fall apart about an hour later after a heavy rain shower,

Good thing they gave me like five of them ... one down, four to go ... rolleyes

I have yet to see a faded license plate tab. Is there a reason they can't use the same type of sticker for the access decal? I bet if they COMBINED the printing jobs from the DOL and the WDFW, they could even get a decent price. It just doesn't seem like rocket science.
