My dad is going to do an inspection in (what I think is a town called) Tolah. He said it is on the lower Peninsula. He was wondering if there was any place to wet a fly line for trout around there? Any ideas? Thanks all....... confused

Could it be Taholah? If so, it is the Quinault Indian Nations main town. It is very near the mouth of the Quinault River. This river may be the best fishing river in the State of Washington. You must hire a Quinault Indian Guide to fish this river. There could be sockeye and late (big) winter run steelhead in there now. A frequent contributor to this board is a guide on the Quinault. Her name is Letty and her website is www.geocities.com/lettyrene Good luck.

The quinault river is definately one of the better producing rivers in washington, especially the monster steelhead it puts out. You do need a guide for the lower quinault but you dont need one if you fish above the lake. There should be some fish scatterd through there, best of luck catching that trophy fish.
