So what is up with the Umatilla this year? I have not heard any good news yet about the springer fishing!

Where are those 10,000 or so springers at?

Does anyone have some good news?

Like some other Columbia tribs with lots of springers due, such as the Yakima and Icicle, the water is real low in the Uma too. Also, lots of rattlesnakes, scorpions, and ticks this year - every year actually. rolleyes

Boy RT,

If I didn't know better, I'd say you're trying to discourage the poor guy. BTW, how'd you know he hates ticks? wink smile

was out sunday, and the water was at about 1000cfs and at about 3 ft. visibility. thank God the water is on the drop, it's at about 750cfs the last time i saw. once it gets down to 600...we're in business! also, about 100 fish a day are passing at three mile dam at umatilla...so they're coming up! i'm going out this weekend! i'll keep y'all updated!

Jelly, someone was trying to discourage me (with that info I passed on - except for the critters part smile just kidding about that). From CC's post it looks like I got hoodwinked?
