Hey there! Am new to this board, but can tell it will be one I visit often. Lots of good information from some intersting characters. I'll be traveling down to the Kasilof R this weekend, and was wondering if anyone has any updates on early kings? Single hook till the 15th, anyone have any reccomendations on what to use? Have a good one----hope for no more snow.

See if Bob has put up any river reports on his river report page. Since he's there his reports are always current but I don't know if he's started them yet. I think his link is at the bottom of this page.

I guess that all depends on if you are in a boat or on the bank.

If in a boat, use plugs.

If on the bank, just use a single hook and corky/yarn. Apparently, from what I have been told, it's a big flossfest from the bank. I don't think it's illegal, too. Like fishing for Reds on the Kenai. Just do what everyone else does.

I driftfish yarn and spin n glows with some scent or spinners with scent. I hope it helps. You can E-mail me for more info if you want. I think your going to hit them at the start of the first run. I always go the first of June and hear I just missed a good push of fish. Good luck!!
