Good news for those of you that fish the Wind River and Drano Lake area. The WDFW has increased the quota of spring chinook to four per day or a combination of two hatchery steelhead and two chinook effective Thursday May the 17th through Saturday June 30th. Go get-em boy's and let's be carefull out there!

That's great,But ya got to be able to hook and land them first."Legally" I haven't needed to worry about such a large harvest number,and I don't think many others have either.So far this season.Good luck,
STRIKE ZONE

Is this due to our tribal friends out in the main river or are the fish heading for the spawning grouds. It would seem with the lower water conditions this year that they should be milling aroud there for a while thus making it a good opportunity to pick them up. Not being able to be there this year it's hard to speculate what's up.
