As many of you may know, RT has decided to "retire" from his moderating duties due to an opportunity for him to have an every-issue column in STS.

I, the king of not enough hours in a day, understand the time limitations this will create for him and his need to step down.

RT has promised me he'll still hang around to harass some of ya, give some info to others. His help will be missed, but we should all wish him the best of luck in his upcoming opportunity!

Thanks, RT .. you're welcome back on a full-time basis anytime you give me the word.

On a sidenote, if anyone would like to help in moderating duties, please drop me a note. Thanks again RT!

Now that RT has retired so to speak, maybe the egg cure he keeps telling me about will show up in my mailbox someday soon. laugh

Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you Bob. You let me be myself on this forum and that is much appreciated (by me anyway wink ). And thanks to all you members who supported me here. This Washington based site and the ifish Oregon based site, both covering all the NW now, are the 2 sites which are head and shoulders above all the others! Piscatorial Pursuits has over 2300 registered members, and I hope we all stay together on the important fishing issues we face as a sportfishing community! ...

By the way, your tips and other sections of this site are first rate Bob. Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf - it's more appreciated than you know. ...

As Bob mentioned, I will still be a very active member here. I enjoy it, and enjoy being part of the NW fishing community enjoined via these fishing forums. I just don't have the time to devote to moderating for the foreseeable future, but maybe down the road sometime. Among all the great things offered is the opportunity to meet new fun friends with the same passion for fishing. Thanks all and take care. - Steve Hanson (RT)

Good luck on your new venture Steve. Remember we still have to hook up and go fishing sometime. Just dont write about it in STS.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

What the hell is wrong with you Hanson......you can't write for STS, write your book, moderate neverending posts from us, fish, work, and lead a life all at the same time??? eek

Don't be a stranger, Steve. I've always enjoyed your wit, style and sense of humor....and now that you're not moderating, you know I'm not saying that to suck up laugh laugh

Hopefully, you'll still be hangin' around here as much, only without the ability to censor ME laugh

Good luck in your venture with STS, it's a good mag, and I'll look forward to reading your articles/columns. Take it easy.......

Thanks for the comments guys. And Dan, doing those things isn't the problem - it's doing both those and the 'honey do' list that's too much. smile .... I will be around these BB's plenty - I'm into it with ya. Now it's going to be a headache for Bob until he get's more time or help because now I will need to be moderated. eek laugh

Wow, he's retiring. Well, I guess that's good because not too many 80 year olds have the ability to work like you. Oh I said work, nevermind. :p :p :p

For old times sake, will you please edit my post?

Hey Bob, I know where you might be able to find a moderator, but he could never smile that vertical smile like RT. laugh
